Red Seed Representative Guide Application Once your application has been received and reviewed and you have received confirmation, payment for your sample kit can be processed through PayPal or credit card payment. We will then send out your kit and you can get started. Pre-Party Planning & Time Line Review all of the materials we have sent including the fact sheet, artisan info and video. Ensure your video technology is set up and working properly. Decide how you would like the product to be displayed and what items you will need to complete your vision? Forward event dates to RSR email address. Send invite 3 weeks prior to event date. Send reminder 1 week prior to event date. Review kit items and ensure you have a working knowledge of all of the materials included. Make notes of particular styles or groups you would like to single out. Create some suggested bracelet pairings for presentation purposes. Invitations We have included electronic invites for you to send to your guests (Electronic Invite). We have found that creating a Facebook event or using evite.com, is a great way to keep track of who is coming to your event and to send out reminders. Red Seed Party Presentation Ideas 3Strands products displays best against a solid surface or material, whether it be a kitchen table, countertop, or coffee table. We suggest using a solid tablecloth or fabric for the foundation and then adding plates, chargers, napkins, or placemats to place the bracelets. You can use the fabric roll and bag that your kit was sent with to enhance your visual display. Inexpensive jewelry displays are available at your local craft stores to add a professional look to your events. We recommend including a small hand-held mirror for guests to use when considering necklaces. An easy way to add dimension to your display is to place a few shoe boxes (or any other type of box) on a table and then drape a tablecloth or fabric over them. This gives your presentation extra dimension so it s more pleasing to the eye. Fresh flowers, small plants, mirrors, vases or candles look great as a background. Keeping it simple is the best way to keep the focus on the products!

Party Flow Share the 3Strands story, our mission and how you became engaged with 3Strands. Educational Information 3 Strands 3Strands (powered by Corporate Visions), is a for-profit brand with products made by survivors of human trafficking and those at risk. 3Strands works with artisan partners around the world to produce products, providing job opportunities for human trafficking survivors and at-risk individuals, offering hope for a future. Story of the Red Seed Every 3Strands product features a red bead or seed from the Sandalwood tree, native to Cambodia. Sandalwood trees produce colorless pods that eventually dry up and fall to the ground. But inside these dried pods are beautiful, glossy, red seeds. To 3Strands, these seeds represent the beauty in each of the survivors who have been freed from human trafficking and those waiting to be rescued. So it began in Cambodia, a vision of one red seed or representative red bead on every 3Strands product to remind us of the beauty within every child. New Vietnamese Artisan Partner 3Strands artisan partners in Vietnam has several weaving facilities set up by families throughout their village where they can work on shared looms. These communities enable developing countries to meet economic goals while preserving traditional crafting techniques. Artisans developed this skill into a sustainable and dependable form of income. The finished shawls and scarves are taken to one dyeing facility where all products are hand dyed and finished. 3Strands assists in product development, finding new markets for their products and ensuring safe dyeing ingredients that pass all international standards. New Peruvian Artisan Partners Our Peruvian artisan partners create sustainable incomes to better the lives of impoverished women and empower them with hope and dignity. They have created a unique hand-crafted knitwear fashion line with the women of Trujillo using luxurious alpaca yarn and silky pima cotton from Peru. This group provides funding for training opportunities that will grant women the possibility to obtain marketable skills and take control of their lives and their families. New Haitian Artisan Partners This Haitian artisan group enables sustainable development through design, training and job creation. Their workshop has evolved into a training and production center employing more than 150 people who help lighten each other s load and bring a lasting positive impact. Haitian artisan crafting includes leatherwork, sewing, jewelry-making, aluminum casting, metal work, weaving, beadwork, horn & bone, tailoring and shoe making. 3Strands and our partners provide consistent employment and stability to individuals in vulnerable situations. Cambodia In 2010, 3Strands, was founded to rescue and rehabilitate young human trafficking survivors in Cambodia. 3Strands helps to provide sustainable jobs enabling them to reintegrate into their community with honor and dignity. Through the sale of every 3Strands bracelet, handmade by a human trafficking survivor in Cambodia, funds are raised to help in the fight against human trafficking. Haiti Haiti is a country defined by extreme poverty and an overwhelming number of children are left in orphanages because families are unable to provide for them. Haitian artisans are given hope through the dignity of a job and the ability to provide for their children. The artisans create beautiful, handcrafted products out of discarded and seemingly unusable materials including metal, cardboard, aluminum, dirt and paper. They breathe beauty back into discarded items that were once considered of no value. Nepal Nepalese artisans are the creators of our beautiful glass-beaded bracelets, colored by a rich cultural heritage. Historically, financial sustainability did not exist for these women, families or their communities. These women are now able to provide for their families and most importantly, provide an alternative to human trafficking. They have a new sense of pride, prestige and hope for the future that comes with earning a livable wage. Any questions that you have, please submit them to RSR@3strandsglobal.com. We will respond within 24 hours.
