FOOTWEAR GUIDELINES ALL STUDENTS SCHOOL FOOTWEAR GUIDELINES AND EXAMPLES SUMMER SANDALS All students are permitted to wear ANY black velcro, buckle or black sandals. Sandals must be flat, and not slip-ons. Please be careful when choosing sandals for your children. Some dress sandals do not provide enough protection or strength for the activities at school and must not be worn! WINTER SHOES All students are permitted to wear ANY black leather or leather look, closed toe, flat lace-up, velcro, or buckle closing shoes. Shoes must not be boots or ankle boots. Please note: All Students (New Entrants through to Year 8) are still able to wear winter shoes in Summer with navy ankle socks if they prefer not to wear summer sandals. This is for safety reasons during sporting activities. White or Navy Blue. No mixed coloured socks. Students participating in Extra-Curricular Faith City School Sports Teams - Football and Hockey should purchase Royal Blue and Red Socks from Andersons for participation in these sports. SOCK / TIGHTS/STOCKINGS REQUIREMENTS All Students across all year levels (Boys & Girls) are to wear Navy Blue Knee-High Socks with School Shoes with Winter Uniform (Terms 2 &3). Socks are not to be worn with Sandals. Boys who opt to wear Regulation Navy Trousers as part of their Winter Uniform can wear Navy Blue ankle socks with school shoes. Students who opt to use School shoes instead of Sandals while wearing Summer Uniform (Terms 1 & 4) are to wear Navy Ankle Socks (instead of Knee-High Socks) Girls (Across All Years) may opt to wear Navy Tights or Navy Stockings instead of Socks. Tights / Stockings can be any thickness but must be Navy Blue. Boys are not permitted to wear Tights or Stockings
