1 > EL PRIMERO 21 MOVEMT In front of you is the El Primero 21 movement. It is the only mechanical 1/100th of a second chronograph movement. The El Primero 21 movement is a masterpiece of modern engineering. Constructed using state-of-the-art methods and finished using the newest technologies and materials, this movement fulfils two objectives: a finish of the highest possible quality, and optimum performance and accuracy on the wrist. First released in 1969, the world s most accurate series-made chronograph entered a new era of mechanical timekeeping with the El Primero 21 movement. An impressive frequency of 360,000 vibrations per hour is testament to the groundbreaking ingenuity of Zenith, and enables precise measurement of time periods to a hundredth of a second. The jump from tenths to hundredths of a second is a quantum leap in terms of watchmaking performance and engineering. For Zenith, accuracy is the absolute priority. To avoid any risk of the chronograph affecting the accuracy of the time display, the El Primero 21 movement is equipped with a double-chain structure. This means that the time display and chronograph each have their own completely independent mechanism with its own barrel and high frequency escapement. For the chronograph, this oscillates at a breathtaking 50 Hz (360,000 VpH). As standard for the El Primero, the time display calibre oscillates at 5 Hz (36,000 VpH). 2 > WINDING THE WATCH Your watch is fitted with an automatic mechanical movement. The movement is wound via the crown or the effect of the oscillating weight. Winding via the oscillating weight takes place when the watch is on your wrist. When your watch has stopped The crown must be in the position 0, meaning it should be pressed against the case. With the watch in your hand, turn the crown counter-clockwise. Turn the crown 72 times to fully wind the watch. The barrel that contains the mainspring has now been wound. In order for the automatic winding to work properly, the watch must be worn for at least 12 hours per day, for several days. Not wearing the watch enough causes it to stop. If you do not wear your watch during the night, turn the crown a few times the following morning before you put it on. Having been wound, the power reserve of your watch is around 50 hours, but this does not appear on the dial. Only the chronograph power reserve appears on the dial of your watch. CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION The El Primero 9004 movement has been certified as a chronometer by TIMELAB in Geneva. It has been tested and successfully meets the requirements set by the ISO3159 standard. A chronometer is a device that measures time to the highest accuracy, and can be adjusted to different positions and under a range of temperatures. AR IT ES DE FR JP RU ZH ZT 7 <
3 > WINDING THE CHRONOGRAPH Alongside the double-chain structure of the calibre, and the remarkable accuracy this ensures, the El Primero 21 movement boasts two other technical innovations: a new, patented start/ stop/reset mechanism composed of three heart pieces, and an exclusive starter mechanism which ensures reliable operation under all circumstances, and allows the chronograph second, tenths and hundredths displays to be simultaneously reset. Procedure The crown must be in the 0 position, meaning that it should be pressed against the case. With the watch in your hand, turn the crown clockwise until the hand of the chronograph power reserve is fully wound (around 25 turns). The barrel that contains the mainspring has now been wound. Fully wound, the chronograph power reserve is around 50 minutes. This is displayed by the hand located under the Zenith logo. IT ES DE FR JP RU ZH ZT AR 9 <
4 > SETTING THE TIME 5 > TIMEKEEPING FUNCTION Position 0: winding position In this position you can manually wind your chronograph movement and watch by turning the crown. Pull the crown out a notch to change to position (1). Position 1: correcting the time To correct the time, turn the crown in the required direction. Do not forget to return the crown to position (0). (0) (1) (A) (C) (B) Switching it on/off: a single press of the push-button (A) switches the timekeeping function on, pressing it again will switch it off.reviving the timekeeping function: pressing the push-button (A) again will revive the timekeeping function. Resetting the chronograph: Once the chronograph has stopped, one firm press on the push-button (C) will send the hand of the chronograph back and the totalisers back to zero. 6 > ZITH'S INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY Zenith watches are the product of our Manufacture and are high-precision, high-tech products. Before your watch leaves the Manufacture, it is subjected to numerous stringent quality checks. However, should there be any manufacturing faults, an international warranty means your watch is covered for two years starting from the date of purchase. 2 > ПОДЗАВОД ЧАСОВ Ваши часы оснащены механизмом с автоматическим подзаводом. Часовой механизм подзаводится с помощью заводной головки или под действием инерционного груза. Подзавод инерционного груза происходит при ежедневном ношении часов на запястье. Если часы остановились Заводная головка должна находиться в положении 0, т. е. прижата вплотную к корпусу. Возьмите часы в руки и начните вращать заводную головку против часовой стрелки. Для полного подзавода достаточно 72 оборотов заводной головки. В свою очередь барабан заводной пружины также будет подзаведен. Чтобы механизм автоматического подзавода работал правильно, часы следует носить не менее 12 часов в день на протяжении нескольких дней. Если Вы недостаточно долго носили часы, они могут остановиться. Если Вы не носите свои часы ночью, то утром, перед тем как их надеть, необходимо сделать несколько оборотов заводной головки. Запас хода полностью заведенных часов составляет не менее 50 часов. Индикация запаса хода на циферблате данной модели отсутствует. На циферблате ваших часов присутствует только указатель запаса хода хронографа. СЕРТИФИКАЦИЯ ХРОНОМЕТРА Часовой механизм El Primero 9004 получил сертификат хронометра Женевской лаборатории часового искусства и микроинженерии Timelab. Он был протестирован в данной лаборатории и полностью отвечает требованиям ISO 3159. 3 > ПОДЗАВОД ХРОНОГРАФА Помимо конструкции на основе двух кинематических цепей и гарантированной высокой точности, часовой механизм El Primero 21 включает в себя еще два технических нововведения: новый запатентованный механизм запуска, остановки и обнуления показаний хронографа, состоящий из трех основных компонентов, и эксклюзивный пусковой механизм, который гарантирует надежную работу при любых обстоятельствах, позволяя одновременно обнулять показания счетчиков секунд, десятых и сотых долей секунды. Порядок действий Заводная головка должна находиться в положении (0), т. е. прижата вплотную к корпусу. Возьмите часы в руки и вращайте заводную головку по часовой стрелке до тех пор, пока стрелка указателя запаса хода хронографа не укажет на его полный подзавод (примерно 25 оборотов). В свою очередь барабан заводной пружины также будет подзаведен. Запас хода полностью заведенного хронографа составляет около 50 минут. 4 > УСТАНОВКА ВРЕМЕНИ 5 > ФУНКЦИЯ ХРОНОМЕТРАЖА Положение 0: положение подзавода В этом положении вы можете вручную подзавести механизмы хронографа и часов, вращая заводную головку. Для перехода в положение (1) вытяните заводную головку на одно деление. Положение 1: установка времени Вращайте заводную головку в любом направлении для установки точного времени. Не забудьте вернуть заводную головку в положение (0). (0) (1) (A) (C) (B) Запуск и остановка хронометража: первое нажатие кнопки (A) запускает хронометраж, второе нажатие останавливает хронометраж. Возобновление хронометража: Новое нажатие кнопки (A) возобновляет хронометраж. Обнуление показаний: после того, как хронограф остановлен, нажатие кнопки (C) возвращает стрелки хронографа и счетчиков на ноль. Внимание! 1 > MOUVEMT EL PRIMERO 21 Vous avez devant vous le mouvement El Primero 21. C est le seul mouvement chronographe mécanique au 1/100ème de seconde. Le mouvement El Primero 21 est un chef-d œuvre d ingénierie moderne. Construit en utilisant des méthodes de pointe et doté de finitions intégrant les technologies et les matériaux les plus innovants, ce mouvement répond à deux objectifs : la plus haute qualité de finition qui soit, associée à des performances et une précision optimales au poignet. Lancé en 1969, le chronographe de série le plus précis du monde est entré dans une nouvelle ère de chronométrage mécanique avec le mouvement El Primero 21. 2 > REMONTAGE DE LA MONTRE Votre montre est munie d un mouvement mécanique automatique. Le mouvement se remonte grâce à la couronne ou par l action de la masse oscillante. Le remontage par la masse oscillante se fait lorsque la montre est portée au poignet. Lorsque la montre est arrêtée La couronne doit être en position 0, c est-à-dire plaquée contre la boîte. Prendre la montre en main et tourner la couronne dans le sens antihoraire. 72 tours de couronne pour un remontage complet. Le barillet qui contient le ressort moteur est ainsi remonté. Pour que le mécanisme de remontage automatique fonctionne correctement, la montre doit être portée au moins 12 heures par jour pendant plusieurs jours. Lorsque la montre est insuffisamment portée, elle s arrête. Si vous ne portez pas votre montre pendant la nuit, vous pouvez lui donner quelques tours de couronne le matin avant de la porter. Remontée, la réserve de marche de votre montre est d environ 50 heures, mais cette dernière n est pas affichée sur le cadran. Seule la réserve de marche du Chronographe est indiquée sur le cadran de votre montre. CERTIFICATION CHRONOMETRE Le mouvement El Primero 9004 a été certifié Chronomètre auprès de Timelab à Genève. Il a été contrôlé et répond avec succès aux exigences fixées par la norme ISO3159. 3 > REMONTAGE DU CHRONOGRAPHE Outre la structure à double chaîne du calibre et la précision remarquable qu il garantit, le mouvement El Primero 21 intègre deux autres innovations techniques : un nouveau mécanisme breveté de démarrage/arrêt/remise à zéro du chronographe composé de trois cœurs, ainsi qu un démarreur exclusif qui garantit un fonctionnement fiable en toutes circonstances et permet la remise à zéro simultanée de la seconde, du dixième et du centième. Marche à suivre La couronne doit être en position (0), c est-à-dire plaquée contre la boîte. Prendre la montre en main et tourner la couronne dans le sens horaire jusqu à ce que l aiguille de réserve de marche du chronographe soit remontée complètement (Environ 25 tours). Le barillet qui contient le ressort moteur est ainsi remonté. Remontée, la réserve de marche de votre chronographe est d environ 50 minutes. Das Uhrwerk El Primero 21 ist ein Meisterwerk modernster Ingenieurskunst. 2 > AUFZUG DER UHR Ihre Uhr verfügt über ein mechanisches Werk mit automatischem Aufzug. Das Uhrwerk kann entweder über die Krone oder durch die Bewegung der Schwungmasse aufgezogen werden. Wenn die Uhr am Handgelenk getragen wird, erfolgt der Aufzug über die Schwungmasse. Stillstand der Uhr Die Krone muss in der Position 0 sein, das heißt gegen das Gehäuse gedrückt. Nehmen Sie die Uhr in die Hand und drehen Sie die Krone gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (72 Kronenumdrehungen bis zum Vollaufzug). Dadurch wird die Antriebsfeder im Federhaus gespannt. Damit der Automatikaufzug einwandfrei funktioniert, muss die Uhr mehrere Tage in Folge mindestens 12 Stunden am Tag getragen werden. Wird die Uhr nicht ausreichend getragen, bleibt sie stehen. Wenn Sie Ihre Uhr nachts nicht tragen, können Sie sie morgens vor dem Anlegen mit einigen Umdrehungen der Krone aufziehen. Die Gangreserve der vollständig aufgezogenen Uhr beträgt rund 50 Stunden, wird aber nicht auf dem Zifferblatt angezeigt. Einzig die Gangreserve des Chronographen kann auf dem Zifferblatt abgelesen werden. CHRONOMETER-ZERTIFIKAT Das Uhrwerk El Primero 9004 verfügt über ein Chronometer- Zertifikat von Timelab in Genf. Es hat die Prüfungen erfolgreich bestanden und entspricht den Anforderungen gemäß der Norm ISO 3159. 3 > AUFZUG DES CHRONOGRAPH Nebst der Zwei-Ketten-Konzeption des Kalibers und der außerordentlichen Präzision, die dadurch garantiert wird, umfasst das Uhrwerk El Primero 21 zwei weitere technische Innovationen: ein neuer, patentierter Mechanismus mit drei Herzen zum Starten, Stoppen und Nullstellen des Chronographen sowie ein neuer, exklusiver Startermechanismus für eine jederzeit zuverlässige Funktion und das gleichzeitige Nullstellen der Sekunde, Zehntel- und Hundertstelsekunde. 4 > EINSTELLUNG DER UHRZEIT 5 > ZEITNAHMEFUNKTION Position 0: Aufzugsposition In dieser Position können Sie sowohl das Chronographenwerk wie auch das Uhrwerk durch Drehen der Krone von Hand aufziehen. Ziehen Sie die Krone um eine Stufe in die Position (1) heraus. Position 1: Korrektur der Uhrzeit Drehen Sie die Krone in beliebige Richtung, um die korrekte Uhrzeit einzustellen. Vergessen Sie nicht, die Krone nach der Einstellung wieder in die Position (0) hineinzudrücken. (0) (1) (A) (C) (B) Starten / Stoppen: Ein erstes Betätigen des Drückers (A) startet die Zeitnahme, ein zweites Betätigen des Drückers hält sie an.fortsetzung der Zeitnahme: Ein erneutes Betätigen des Drückers (A) setzt die Zeitnahme fort. Nullstellen: Bei angehaltenem Chronographen stellt ein einmaliges Betätigen des Drückers (C) den Chronographenund die Zählerzeiger wieder auf null. El movimiento El Primero 21 es una obra maestra de la ingeniería moderna. Presentado en 1969, el cronógrafo de serie más preciso del mundo entra ahora en una nueva era de cronometraje mecánico con el movimiento El Primero 21. 2 > CÓMO DAR CUERDA AL RELOJ Este reloj está dotado de un movimiento mecánico automático. Para dar cuerda al movimiento se utiliza la corona o la masa oscilante. En este último caso, al llevarlo en la muñeca se da cuerda al reloj. Cuando el reloj está parado La corona debe estar en la posición 0, es decir, pegada contra la caja. Sujete el reloj y gire la corona en sentido antihorario. Es necesario dar 72 vueltas a la corona para dar la cuerda máxima al reloj. De este modo se da cuerda también al barrilete que contiene el muelle motor. Para que el mecanismo de cuerda automática funcione correctamente, el reloj se debe llevar, como mínimo, 12 horas al día durante varios días. Si no lleva el reloj el tiempo suficiente, este se detendrá. Si no lleva el reloj durante la noche, puede darle unas cuantas vueltas a la corona por la mañana antes de ponérselo. Una vez que se le dado cuerda, la reserva de marcha del reloj es de aproximadamente 50 horas, valor que no se indica en la esfera. Solamente se indica en la esfera del reloj la reserva de marcha del cronógrafo. CERTIFICADO DE CRONÓMETRO El movimiento El Primero 9004 cuenta con el certificado de cronómetro otorgado por Timelab en Ginebra. Se ha sometido a diferentes controles y responde a las exigencias establecidas por la norma ISO 3159. La denominación «cronómetro» hace referencia a un aparato de medición del tiempo de alta precisión ajustado en diferentes posiciones y a diversas temperaturas. 91 < AR IT ES DE FR JP RU ZH ZT
3 > CÓMO DAR CUERDA AL CRONÓGRAFO Además de la estructura de doble cadena del calibre y la notable precisión que garantiza, el movimiento El Primero 21 incorpora otras dos innovaciones técnicas: un nuevo mecanismo patentado de puesta en marcha/parada/puesta a cero del cronógrafo compuesto por tres núcleos, así como un arrancador exclusivo que garantiza un funcionamiento fiable en cualquier circunstancia y que permite poner a cero simultáneamente el segundo, la décima y la centésima. Procedimiento La corona debe estar en la posición (0), es decir, pegada contra la caja. Sujete el reloj y gire la corona en sentido horario hasta que la aguja de la reserva de marcha del cronógrafo indique la cuerda máxima (25 vueltas aproximadamente). De este modo se da cuerda también al barrilete que contiene el muelle motor. Una vez que se le ha dado cuerda, la reserva de marcha del cronógrafo es de 50 minutos aproximadamente. 4 > CÓMO SE AJUSTA LA HORA 5 > FUNCIÓN DE CRONOMETRAJE Posición 0: posición para dar cuerda En esta posición, podrá dar cuerda al movimiento de cronógrafo y al reloj manualmente realizando movimientos de rotación de la corona. Tire de la corona y muévala una muesca para ponerla en la posición (1). Posición 1: corrección de la hora Para corregir la hora, gire la corona en el sentido deseado. No olvide volver a poner la corona en la posición (0). (0) (1) (A) (C) (B) Puesta en marcha/parada: al presionar una vez el pulsador (A) se pone en marcha el cronometraje; al hacerlo una segunda vez, se detiene. Reanudación del cronometraje: al presionar de nuevo el pulsador (A), se reanuda el cronometraje. Puesta a cero: una vez detenido el cronógrafo, al presionar con firmeza el pulsador (C), la aguja del cronógrafo y los totalizadores se ponen a cero. 1 > MOVIMTO EL PRIMERO 21 Avete davanti a voi il movimento El Primero 21, l'unico movimento cronografo meccanico preciso a 1/100 di secondo. Il movimento El Primero 21 è un capolavoro della moderna ingegneria. Costruito mediante metodi all'avanguardia e dotato di finiture realizzate con tecnologie e materiali innovativi, questo movimento soddisfa due requisiti: la migliore qualità di finitura possibile unita a prestazioni e precisione ottimali. Presentato nel 1969, il cronografo di serie più preciso al mondo è entrato in una nuova era del cronometraggio meccanico grazie al movimento El Primero 21. L'incredibile frequenza di 360.000 alternanze/ora testimonia la rivoluzionaria ingegnosità di Zenith e consente di misurare il tempo al centesimo di secondo. Il passaggio dal decimo al centesimo di secondo rappresenta uno straordinario progresso in termini di prestazioni orologiere e ingegneria. Per Zenith, la precisione è la priorità assoluta. Al fine di evitare che il cronografo possa alterare la precisione dell'indicazione dell'ora, il movimento El Primero 21 è dotato di "struttura a doppia catena". In questo modo, indicazione dell'ora e cronografo dispongono ognuno di un meccanismo totalmente indipendente, con un proprio bariletto e scappamento ad alta frequenza. Il movimento del cronografo oscilla all'impressionante frequenza di 50 Hertz (360.000 alt/ora), mentre il calibro storico destinato all'indicazione dell'ora oscilla a una frequenza di 5 Hertz (36.000 alt/ora). 2 > CARICA DELL'OROLOGIO Questo orologio è dotato di movimento meccanico a carica automatica. Il movimento si carica mediante la corona o grazie all'azione della massa oscillante. La carica mediante massa oscillante avviene quando l'orologio è indossato. Quando l'orologio è fermo La corona deve essere in posizione 0, vale a dire attaccata alla cassa. Prendere l'orologio in mano e ruotare la corona in senso antiorario. Per una carica completa occorrono 72 giri della corona. In questo modo il bariletto che contiene la molla motore è carico. Affinché il meccanismo di carica automatica funzioni correttamente, l'orologio deve essere indossato per almeno 12 ore al giorno per diversi giorni. Quando l'orologio non viene indossato per un tempo sufficiente, si ferma. Se l'orologio non viene indossato di notte, è consigliabile ruotare la corona di qualche giro al mattino prima di indossarlo. La riserva di un orologio carico è di circa 50 ore, ma non viene indicata sul quadrante. Sul quadrante dell'orologio è visualizzata solo la riserva di carica del cronografo. CERTIFICATO CRONOMETRO Il movimento El Primero 9004 è stato certificato Cronometro dal Timelab di Ginevra. È stato sottoposto a controlli e ha dimostrato di soddisfare i requisiti stabiliti dalla norma ISO3159. Viene definito Cronometro un apparecchio di misura del tempo di alta precisione regolato in diverse posizioni e a diverse temperature. 103 < AR IT ES DE FR JP RU ZH ZT
3 > CARICA DEL CRONOGRAFO Oltre alla struttura a doppia catena del calibro e alla notevole precisione che garantisce, il movimento El Primero 21 presenta altre due innovazioni tecniche: un nuovo meccanismo brevettato di avvio/arresto/azzeramento del cronografo costituito da tre camme a cuore e un dispositivo di avviamento esclusivo che assicura un funzionamento affidabile in qualsiasi circostanza e consente l'azzeramento simultaneo di secondi, decimi e centesimi. Procedura da seguire La corona deve essere in posizione (0), vale a dire attaccata alla cassa. Prendere in mano l'orologio e ruotare la corona in senso orario fino a che la lancetta della riserva di carica del cronografo non indica la carica completa (25 giri circa). In questo modo il bariletto che contiene la molla motore è carico. La riserva del cronografo carico è di circa 50 minuti ed è indicata dalla lancetta che si trova sopra il logo Zenith. 4 > REGOLAZIONE DELL'ORA 5 > FUNZIONE DI CRONOMETRAGGIO Posizione 0: posizione di carica In questa posizione è possibile caricare manualmente il movimento cronografo e l'orologio ruotando la corona. Estrarre la corona di uno scatto per passare in posizione (1). Posizione 1: correzione dell'ora Per correggere l'ora, ruotare la corona nel senso desiderato. Non dimenticare di riportare la corona in posizione (0). (0) (1) (A) (C) (B) Avvio / Arresto: una prima pressione del pulsante (A) avvia il cronometraggio, la seconda lo arresta.ripresa del cronometraggio: premendo nuovamente il pulsante (A) il cronometraggio riprende. Azzeramento: dopo l'arresto del cronografo, premere con decisione il pulsante (C) per riportare a zero la lancetta del cronografo e dei totalizzatori. Attenzione: prima di iniziare un nuovo cronometraggio, riportare a zero le lancette del cronografo. All'occorrenza, eseguire l'azzeramento del pulsante (C). AR IT ES DE FR JP RU ZH ZT 107 <
6 > GARANZIA INTERNAZIONALE ZITH Gli orologi Zenith sono prodotti di Manifattura di alta precisione ed estremamente tecnici. Prima di lasciare la Manifattura gli orologi sono sottoposti a rigorosi test di qualità. L'orologio è tuttavia coperto da una garanzia internazionale contro tutti i difetti di fabbricazione per una durata di due anni dalla data di acquisto. Iscrivendosi al sito www.zenith-watches.com si ottiene un anno di garanzia supplementare. Questa garanzia sarà rispettata da tutti i Centri di servizio autorizzati Zenith del mondo purché siano soddisfatte le seguenti condizioni: > L orologio sia stato acquistato presso un rivenditore esclusivo autorizzato da Zenith e il suo nome, il suo indirizzo, la data di acquisto e le referenze dell'orologio siano chiaramente indicati sulla carta di garanzia. > L'orologio sia stato indossato nelle normali condizioni d'uso e manutenzione raccomandate da Zenith e non abbia subito trattamenti non appropriati. > La carta di garanzia, sola prova valida dell'acquisto, sia allegata all'orologio quando questo viene consegnato a un Centro di servizio autorizzato Zenith Si fa presente che la garanzia internazionale Zenith non copre il normale invecchiamento dell'orologio, la naturale usura dei cinturini in pelle, tessuto o caucciù e i possibili graffi dovuti all'uso sulla cassa e il vetro zaffiro.
