After being present in Milano Moda Uomo in January and June this year (for the men's fashion weeks), the ANJE National Association of Young Entrepreneurs project is now returning to promote its women's proposals. In the opinion of the President of ANJE, Adelino Costa Matos, Participation in Milano Moda Donna will reinforce Portugal Fashion's position and prestige with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the body which has made it possible for us to take the best of Portuguese fashion to Milan, since 2015". We will be present at the most important fashion week in Italy and one of the main ones in the world, for the fifth consecutive time with Portugal Fashion and we will also be taking part in White Milano for the fourth time with the Next Step project. This event is increasingly sought after by buyers from all over the world and we will be represented there by four Portugal Fashion designers and two labels. There is no doubt that this is a sound promotional campaign, he added. A collection based on atlheisure aesthetic principles. For the next warm season, Carlos Gil's focus is on recreating light, relaxed looks, under the framework of the urban, cosmopolitan elegance that characterises his label. The strong, vibrant colours are based on yellow, magenta, emerald and violet, complemented by softer, more neutral shades like camel, white and black. According to the designer, this is a collection inspired by the majesty of contemporary architecture in big cities and by tropical climes, disparate realities that are melded and result in a rational, organic aesthetic that brings the stiff, strict lines of the urban network to the feminine world, enhanced to by the pure, simple touches of nature. Geometric shapes, both in patterns and textures, along with the Swiss cheese plant leaf, are key elements in the many proposals from Carlos Gil and they work as a link between themselves, bringing the concept of organic architecture to life. The designer wants women to embrace the Tropical Urban spirit next Spring/Summer, in a collection where contemporary fashion references are mixed together and the casual sport style is accepted as being "synonymous with sophistication and elegance". Summer looks revisiting the 1980s
It is in the context of the colour and freedom of reviewing the 1980s that Pedro Pedro presents his Spring Summer 2018 collection, where creativity is superimposed on the function of the shape taken. The designer chose to replace well-behaved clothes with streetwear and sportswear, and this choice is reinforced by the use of sporty footwear and basic design items. Geometric prints such as bars and squares predominate in these comfortable looks, combined with truly psychedelic shades, from lime green to shocking pink and from red to orange. The materials are based on polyamides combined with denim, mousseline and knits, finished with details of fringes, elastics, twists, "bag" and kimono lines which shape and readjust themselves. For Pedro Pedro, the watchword for his collection is "getting back into the routine. Next Step on its way to White Milano The next stage for Next Step, the "commercial arm" of Portugal Fashion, will be at one of the most highly acclaimed European fashion events: White Milano. Between 22 and 25 September, dates that coincide with the Milano Moda Donna calendar, the ANJE project will be taking four designers (Katty Xiomara, Pedro Pedro, Carla Pontes and Luís Buchinho) and two fashion labels (Pé de Chumbo and TM Collection by Teresa Martins) to Milan, with the aim of attracting new buyers in order to make it possible to grow the Portuguese designer fashion business in Italy, as well as in other foreign markets that are well-represented in the distribution network in Italy. This will be ANJE's fourth participation at White Milano through Next Step. This event has been earning global affirmation, turning the Tortona Fashion District into a place that buyers from all over the world simply must go to. Carlos Gil s Spring/Summer 2018 collection finds some of its inspiration in the athleisure aesthetic, yet the presented looks are sharp, clean and portray the cosmopolitan feel which have become the brand s signature. Inspired by the greatness and strict lines of contemporary architecture, and also by the tropical environments, the collection fuses both concepts and suggests us a rational but organic line that translates to the feminine silhouette the feeling of the rigorous urban cities elevated by the spontaneous and simple appearances of nature in its surroundings. The patterns and colours are strong and vibrant and reach from colours like bright yellow, emerald, magenta and violet. The colour pallet is completed with softer tones like camel and the neutrals - black and white, which appear mixed with the stronger colours with subtlety and refinement. Key elements such as the geometric shapes (both seen in print and texture) and the monstera leaf become the core and the connection throughout the many different looks following the concept of organic architecture. For this season the brand Carlos Gil invites you to live in a Tropical Urban state of mind while mixing and matching contemporary fashion references in a chic but very casual way of dressing.
Under the sign of color and freedom of new vision of the 80s. The function overlaps with creativity, as shapes "deform" themselves, for details become bigger, well-behaved clothes preferred the street and sportswear that the option for sports shoes reinforces. Comfortable pieces of basic design in geometric prints where they predominate like bars and squares, in psychedelic tones ranging from lime green to shock pink, from red to orange. Technical materials such as polyamides conjugate with denim, muslin and knitting. Frizz, elastic, twisted, "sack" and "kimono" lines that mold and readjust. Word of order? Back to basics.
