Pennsylvania Ave., Dunnellon, Florida, 34431 5th Annual Rainbow Springs Art Festival Saturday, November 23-10:00am-4:00pm & Sunday, 24th, 11:00am-4:00pm LOCATION: Historic District in Dunnellon, FL (West Pennsylvania Ave. & Cedar Street) This event is open to artists and fine craftsmen displaying their own original work. All items for display or sale must be designed and handmade personally by the artists represented at the show. No resale items or items created from kits or are allowed. Molds are only allowed for items like soap. 1. Applications must include the following: Completed application form. Registration fee, check made out to Rainbow Springs Art. Photographs: Four (4) close-up photos of your work for committee review. Your name, address, medium and category MUST BE printed on the reverse side of each photo. No slides or photocopies accepted! (If you have a website depicting your work please list it for reference.) One (1) additional photo should be of your display from a previous show. One (1) additional photo of your display should show the appropriate weights which you will use to hold down your tent or canopy. If you do do have this photo, please explain your weight system on the application. ALL TENTS AND CANOPIES MUST HAVE AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF WEIGHT TO KEEP THEM STABLE. TENTS AND CANOPIES CAN NOT BE AFFIXED TO THE PAVEMENT. ROPES AND OR WEIGHTS MUST NOT BE A SAFETY HAZARD.. 2. Registration: Registration Deadline is Oct. 1st. Acceptance/non-acceptance by the Application Review Committee (ARC) will be emailed to the applicant no later than Oct. 15th. After acceptance, no refunds will be made. Checks will be cashed upon receipt, however, this is not an indication of acceptance. Refunds will be mailed to those not accepted. 1

Show is rain or shine. If an applicant does not show or cancels less than 60 days prior to the show there will be no refund. Cancellations requested more than 60 days prior to the show will be considered on a case by case basis. Registration for each 10x10 space is $90, or $110 if received after June 1, 2019. (discounted to $75 for RSA members) includes a $10 nonrefundable application fee. The merchandise must match the photo used for acceptance. A team of no more than two people producing the same product may be deemed a single exhibitor e.g., a husband and wife team where the husband carves a wooden box to prepare for final finishing and the wife does final finish work or they both created sculptures out of the same medium like copper, one doing large pieces and one doing small items. The application for a team must be clear with supporting pictures. If necessary, three (3) additional photos may be included. 3. The ARC reserves the right to withhold entry on any work deemed to be unsuitable in which case the Registration Fee will be refunded. The ARC will evaluate your work based on either Fine Art OR Fine Craft. This area MUST be marked on the application. Please be specific in describing your art or your craft. Failure to describe your work correctly could delay acceptance of your application and potential loss of the ability to participate. 4. This is an outdoor tent/canopy show. ALL EXHIBITORS must be in tents or under canopies. Exhibitors must show signage included in their welcome package on the front of the tent or canopy. Exhibitors are required to stay within their allotted space. All booth spaces will be assigned by the Festival committee. Set-up will begin Saturday, November 23, starting at 6:00am and all vehicles must be off the street by 9:00am. Set-up, takedown and designated parking will be strictly adhered to. Late arrival or early departure will not be allowed. Exhibitors leaving early will not be allowed to exhibit in future shows. All vendors must exit the area by 6:00 pm Sunday. 5. NO PETS BELONGING TO THE EXHIBITOR ARE ALLOWED IN THE EXHIBIT SPACE. Appropriate documents for service animals must be presented with the application. 6. No alcohol, cigarettes, cigars or e-cigarettes are allowed in the exhibit space at any time. 7. Moving, trading or relocating assigned space is prohibited. 8. Electricity is not provided. Generators are prohibited except for silent generators. 9. You must provide your own tables, chairs and all supplies needed to operate. 10. Exhibitors must drop off supplies and move vehicles to designated parking. 11. Each exhibitor is responsible for care and protection of their space area. RSA will not assume responsibility for artists loss or damage. Exhibitors are responsible for the overall appearance of their booth which should reflect the professionalism of the show. All refuse must be removed from the show space upon leaving and your space returned to its original condition. Refuse such as cardboard boxes or packing material should not be placed in the containers located throughout the festival area. It should be taken with you. 12. By order of the Fire and police Departments, nothing is allowed to extend beyond the front of the tent into the roadway, including but not limited to awnings and chairs. Failure to obey this requirement will mean automatic removal from future shows and may result in other sanctions. 2

13. All exhibitors are responsible for collecting and mailing state sales tax (7%) to Florida Revenue Commission.
