SAMPLE COMMENTARIES: Purchased: "Jane Doe will get a lot of use out of her outfit this summer on her trip to Washington, D.C. Jane's floral print jacket is loose-fitting and unlined. It has shoulder pads, patch pockets and a one button closure. The buttoned shirt has yokes extending into short dolman sleeves. Her turquoise pants complete the outfit. They have front tucks and slanted inset pockets. Jane got a real deal on her outfit when she purchased it for 50% off at the store's spring clearance sale." "Mary Jones is wearing one of her favorites in her wardrobe -- a peach colored dress with a fitted midriff. The slightly flared skirt is gathered to the dropped waistline. The scoop neckline is softly gathered and has matching peach lace. With two sisters and a very good friend getting married, Mary plans on plenty of occasions to wear her dress. Accessories include pearl earrings with a double strand pearl necklace. Mary was excited to purchase this outfit for $7.00 at a garage sale." Constructed: "With all the festive events planned for the family, Bob Brown has chosen a lively fruit print to sew his outfit from. The loose fitting shirt can double as a jacket by matching any one of his bright colored tank tops with his "jam" shorts. This loose fitting apparel will be quite comfortable on picnics and family reunions." "Susie Ware, a member of the Busy Bluebird's 4-H Club, is wearing a pair of aqua pants she constructed. The pull on elastic pants has large square pockets and is a cotton fabric. With left over material from the pants, Susie was able to use the extra fabric and construct a top. The shirt is made with patterns of hearts and is loose fitting, with front buttons and short sleeves. This is Susie s first time making a shirt with set in sleeves.
