SYNOPSIS In this futuristic romance, two outsider artists create a world in which everything can be designed and controlled, everything but their own feelings.
DIRECTOR S STATEMENT A HEART OF LOVE is an attempt to examine the narcissism of contemporary young people who are part of Poland s artistic Bohemia in the age of social media and consumption. The love of Wojtek and Zuzanna, the film s protagonists, is largely based on narcissism. Do the partners truly love one another or are they merely fascinated by their own mirror reflections? Their love for each other is mixed with self-love. The film is also an observation of outsiders living in a modern metropolis. The two main characters form an exotic and artistic subculture. The film will be filled with contemporary music, poetry and art. A HEART OF LOVE is inspired by lifes of Warsaw based artists: Wojciech Bąkowski and Zuzanna Bartoszek.
