Appointments can be made outside of the regular hours by contacting: Wendy McMahon P: 3872 5720 E: uniformshop@princeofpeace.qld.edu.au Prices and Payment Current prices for all uniforms are available on the uniform order form which is on the Uniform Shop page of the College Website The Uniform Shop accepts the following forms of payment: Cash Cheque (payable to Prince of Peace Lutheran College Foundation) EFTPOS (min $10 spend) Credit Card (Visa and Master Card Only) Parents are welcome to email orders to the Uniform Shop using the order form provided on the Uniform Shop page of the College Website Exchanges and Refunds Exchanges may be made on new uniform items provided they are: Returned within four weeks of purchase Returned in their original packaging with tags attached A register docket is provided for proof of purchase Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds but gladly exchange. Items for return should be sent in a plastic bag with child child s name, class and size required. Items deemed faulty will be returned to the manufacturer for a decision before a credit can be issued. Second Hand Items A range of Junior School items from sizes 4 to 18 are available for purchase in the uniform shop. These are sold as is and no refunds or exchanges are offered on these items. General Uniform Requirements for all Students All students at Prince of Peace Lutheran College are expected to comply with all aspects of the College uniform from the time of leaving home until they return at the end of the day. This includes travelling and at shopping centres. Uniform must be worn to College every day and for special occasions as specified by the Head of College. All uniform items, except shoes and stockings are to be brought through the College uniform shop. 1. Jewellery. a. A simple cross, or other Christian religious symbol, on a fine chain is the only item of jewellery to be worn with College uniform. b. Rings are not permitted. c. Female students with pierced ears may wear one small pair of plain gold or silver studs. d. Piercing, other than of one stud (no gemstones) in the ear, is not permitted. e. Students may wear a watch. 2. Hair. Students are to have conservative hair styles and be neatly groomed at all times. Hair is to be of a natural colour with no obvious colour contrasts. Hair should be worn so the College hat can be worn correctly. a. Girls. Girls with shoulder length hair or longer should have their hair tied up while at school. Hair should be secured with a band or head band of similar colour to the student s hair. A simple ribbon of white or royal blue (Years P-6) or navy blue (Years 7-12) may also be worn. b. Boys. Boys are to have hair no shorter than a No 3 and no longer than the collar. Long hair, undercuts, long fringes, rats tails and so on are not permitted. Boys are to be clean shaven. 3. Make Up. The wearing of makeup and nail polish is not permitted. Tattoos are not permitted. 4. Shoes. Students are to wear College approved shoes at all times. Formal shoes are to be polished. 5. Hats. Students should wear a College hat at all times when travelling to and from College and when outside a building. No hat, no play. 6. School Bags. Students are encouraged to use the College back pack or a similar back pack in either royal blue or navy. Parents are recommended to name all uniform, bags, lunchboxes and any other item brought to College clearly. Please check throughout the year that labels have not worn off. Lost property is available by both campus receptions. Additional, non-compulsory items for sale include; Fridge to Go lunch boxes, Umbrellas, Lanyards, Prince of Peace Swim Hats, ribbon, spare buttons, drawstring library bags and replacement homework satchels (issued in Prep) 3

Acceptable Shoes for Y7-12 Design Technology Mesh and fabric sports shoes do not provide adequate protection in the workshop. Students must wear a full leather formal or sports shoe to protect feet from injury. End of Year Purchases: We recommend uniforms should then be put aside as new (unwashed and unlabeled) until the week before school commences and checked for final fit at that time. If your child has grown considerably and items are no longer a suitable fit, then they can be brought with your receipt, to be exchanged. If you are satisfied with the fit then they should be washed to remove starch/sizing, and labeled before wear on the first day. To maintain optimum appearance and durability please follow the care instructions on uniforms for washing. Socks should be cleaned with a colour safe soaker to preserve the stripe colour. Spare Buttons: Junior Buttons and Junior Dress Buttons are available separately. All other uniform items should have spare buttons included on the garment please check side seams for the Junior Sport s, bottom of the placket for Middle School Formal s, centre front lining for the Middle School Blouse and bottom of the pockets (outside seam) for the Middle School Skirts and Dresses, and near the inside chest pocket for the Senior Blazers. 11
