I suffered with bad plantar fasciitis and my doctor recommended expensive orthotics that would only fit certain pairs of shoes so I did research and tried SOLE with great results. CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOOTWEAR To clean your SOLE footwear, we recommend a mild soap (non-bleach laundry detergent or shampoo works well) and cold water. Use a stiff brush or soft cloth to remove stubborn dirt. Do not machine wash or dry. If additional weatherproofing is needed, a silicone-based water-proofing agent is recommended. For SOLE footwear made with leather, we recommend applying a quality leather conditioner before wearing them to ensure they are protected from the beginning. This will also save time on future cleanings. If you live in a particularly wet climate, you may also want to consider using a silicon-based water-proofing spray to help protect the leather from moisture damage. FOOTBED FITTING INSTRUCTIONS To wear-mold, remove the factory-supplied sock liners from your footwear, replace them with your new SOLE Custom Footbeds, and wear them as normal. The footbed will adapt to your foot after a few days. TO HEAT-MOLD, FOLLOW THREE SIMPLE STEPS 1 Place the footbeds in a pre-heated oven (refer to footbed packaging for oven temperatures and baking time). FOOTBEDS To clean your footbeds, we advise that you remove them from your footwear, wipe them with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, and allow them to air dry. If your footbeds get wet during use, remove them from your footwear and allow them to air dry. SOCKS We recommend washing your SOLE Performance Socks in cold water and air drying them. The synthetic fibers dry very quickly. Alternatively, you can put them in the dryer at low heat. Using a dryer may result in temporary shrinkage. Don t worry they stretch right back out. 2 3 If possible, remove the factory-supplied sock liners from your footwear and place the heated footbeds in your footwear. Step in, lace up and stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart for 2 minutes. I have extremely flat feet and pronation, which causes foot pain, knee pain and especially lower back pain. I found SOLE about 5 years ago and have remained a loyal customer because I DON T LIVE IN PAIN ANYMORE! I simply will not put shoes on my feet without a pair of these footbeds in them.
