2005 Late 19th / Early 20th Century Bear on Metal Wheels, straw filled and with boot button eyes, small hump and felt pads to feet, 44cm high by 55cm long, together with a photograph of one of the previous owners, Cedric Elliot Wadsworth (1905-1914) with his bear 200-300 2006 Early 20th Century German Carousel Horse, Attributed to Friedrich Heyn, carved and grey painted wood with horse hair tail, painted red saddle, brass and leather stirrups and leather bridle, mounted on a sprung iron base with additional foot stands, 138cm high, 114cm long 1000-1500 2007 Early 20th Century Grey Painted and Carved Rocking Horse, in the manner of F H Ayres, on trestle base with turned baluster supports and chamfered rocker ends, with red leather and iron tack, the bridle mounted with brass and ribbon rosettes, with horsehair mane and tail, 140cm long, 121cm high 700-1000 2008 20th Century Large Bed Cover, in fine cream cotton lawn, appliquéd in a meandering design with swags inter-spaced with flower heads, the latter also embroidered and with needle lace fillings, deep border to three sides, an under layer attached in a plain fine cotton lawn, likely to be shadow appliqué work from Madeira, possibly for the retailer Marhab, 170cm by 220cm approx (excluding frill); together with an Early 20th Century Large Crochet Bed Cover, alternate panels of foliage and four cherubs, further crochet border to three sides, 308cm by 230cm approx; and a 20th Century Ecru Fine Linen Tablecloth, embellished with a central design and border of Bruges handmade bobbin lace, 270cm by 250cm approx (3) 200-300 2009 Small Machine Quilted Coverlet, shades of raspberry and yellow with raspberry fringed braid border; 19th Century Printed Bed Hanging, designed with birds and foliage, red on cream ground, edged in red braid, backed in cream cotton, probably French; and a 19th Century Printed Cotton Quilt, with central medallion, the reverse with a very faded turquoise, the top in subtle beiges and blues, 241cm by 200cm approx (a.f.) (3) 2010 19th Century Appliqué Cotton Shaped Bedcover, worked at three sides with broderie anglaise, plain hem at top edge, centrally seamed and appliquéd with large red and pale yellow flower sprays, 216cm by 200cm approx 150-250 2011 An Early 19th Century Patchwork and Appliqué Quilt TOP, with central printed medallion depicting Prince of Wales feathers, crowns and 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense Dieu Et Mon Droit' emblem, graduating borders appliquéd with hearts, flowers and other decorative shapes, most likely celebrating George IV's daughter's marriage to Prince Leopold, 230cm by 213cm approx 300-500 2012 Victorian Patchwork Quilt, with a few later added pieces, designed with vertical stripes at intervals in between which the quilt is pieced in squares on the diagonal, edged with pink floral cottons (a later addition by machine), backed in sturdy cream fabric, 190cm by 360cm approx 2013 Mid-19th Century Block Patchwork Quilt, featuring a central square with pieced triangles, bordered by chintz alternating towards the outer edges, with triangles, squares and chintz panels, backed in cream cotton, mixture of cotton fabrics with the occasional fine wool, edged in red floral cotton added by hand, 172cm by 170cm approx 200-300

2014 1920's Quilted Child's Quilt, Possibly American, with scalloped edging, the off-white ground appliquéd with an unusual design of ballerinas, ballet shoes, wands and crowns in pastel colours, within a pink border of swags and bows, padded, backed with pink and cream cotton and bordered with the same, 204cm by 164cm approx; together with a 19th Century Cream and Pink Quilt, one side with cream centre, cream corners around panels of pink elsewhere, the reverse with pink centre, 212cm by 228cm approx (2) 150-250 2015 Three Peach Bed Covers, Circa 1930's, comprising two matching examples in silk crepe de chine and another; a Matching Pair of Continental Square Pillowcases; Another Pair, with lace trim, probably French, most items embroidered with initials A M D; together with Two Items of 1930's Peach Lace Trimmed Underwear 2015A Circa 1930's Mainly Silk Patchwork Quilt, some later fabrics, diamond shapes, six-point stars, vibrant fabrics both plain and patterned, machine stitched throughout, backed with striped ruby red and cream cotton, 212cm by 136cm approx 2016 Early 20th Century Patchwork Quilt, with the addition of some later and some earlier fabrics, possibly due to alteration, a mixture of diamonds and squares, irregular sized patched throughout, bound with a cream cotton which in itself has been hand quilted in regular lines, however this quilting has not come through to join two layers, edged in turkey red cotton applied by hand, 194cm by 156cm approx 2017 Mid-19th Century Large Patchwork Quilt, large central block of white cotton spotted in red bordered with red and filled with red diamonds, surrounded by four blocks of triangles in pastel colours, mainly small motif Victorian dress fabrics, finished with a final deep border of an overall pink cotton, backed in fine cream cotton and quilted through both layers, 240cm by 212cm approx 300-500 2018 Early 19th Century Very Large Chintz Quilt, pieces together in stripes of varying widths and fabrics, alternating from deep purples to pastel shades, variously including flowers, birds, leaves, backed in cream linen, quilted all over, fans to corners, general waffle design with central circle, 240cm by 240cm approx; together with a tiny Pin Cushion in a Grandmother's flower garden shape, 6.5cm diameter (2) 400-600 2019 Circa 1857 'Crimean Hero' Banqueting Cloth, a linen damask cloth woven to commemorate victory in the Crimean War, edged with a band of portrait medallions depicting Royal Heads of State, Military Commanders, Politicians and others connected with the War, also bearing Royal coats of arms and Turkish Tugrahs, various insignia, emblems, reserves of martial honours and battle honours, manufactured and bearing woven signature of D Dewar & Sons, Dunfermline & London, signed Moffatt, 2/D (in pen), 225cm by 445cm 500-800 2020 Assorted Linen, including Victorian large double cotton Marcella bedspread, quantity of cotton sheets, Damask tablecloth and napkins, 20th century embroidered larger tablecloths, matching napkins etc; together with an Edwardian Large Tape Lace Bedspread; Edwardian Muslin Appliqué on Net Large Bedspread, with central design of flowers and swags in a deep border (in two boxes) 2021 1920's Shiny Thread Bed Cover with Egyptian Scenes and Motifs, a central stylised roundel surround by birds, phoenix, pyramids, figures and Pharaos, three sides with a border of macramé and fringing, in gold, purple, orange, cream, pink, 236cm by 253cm approx(inclusive of fringing) 2022 Late 19th Century Linen Tablecloth, bordered and cornered in crochet with an oak leaf and acorn design, 147cm by 150cm approx; together with Four Other Cloths; Various Mats; and Mid-20th Century Tapestry Evening Bag, with metal frame and chain, box stamped with RFC logo

2023 Circa 1920s Crepe Panel by Raymond Duncan, of rectangular shape, comprising a hand painted design to the central field of grid form in yellow ochre, of what appears to be mountains in green and white, interspersed with trees, within a classical style striped border of blues and pink, and darker pink/brown trim, signed in capitals, 98cm by 200cm 600-800 2027 William IV Sampler by Elizabeth Allen, Dated 1832, with central verse within a foliate border, amongst decorative trees and baskets of flowers, worked in silk threads in cross stitch mainly in green, browns and creams, in a later frame, 39cm by 45cm 2024 Early 19th Century Cream Silk Pin Cushion, "God blefs the Babe Jani 4 1809" (sic), the underside decorated with a central design of a flower basket bordered with foliage, 17cm by 13cm; together with a Later Cream Silk Pin Cushion, embroidered with flowers and edged in lace, 22cm by 7cm 2025 First Half 19th Century Cotton Baby Bonnet, the crown sporting a hollie point needle lace circular insertion, with a design of flower basket and flowers, the remainder of bonnet piped, three hand lace frills surrounding the face and one frill to back of neck, fine draw thread contained within three rows of piping; together with a Late 17th / Early 19th Century Cream Point de Venise Needle Point Collar, several areas of raised work and intricate needle lace fillings (2) 2026 Late 19th / Early 20th Century Padded Night Dress Case, the interior of quilted eau de Nil silk, the exterior of a fine white cotton lawn embroidered in white with a central seam of an Alpine chalet with a flower garden, tie ribbon fastening; together with Matching Draw String Vanity Bag; and a Similar Glove / Handkerchief Case, in eau de Nil silk, the cotton front panel finely embroidered with two flower baskets and swags of flowers, tie ribbon fastening (all three possibly from St. Gall, Switzerland); together with Three White Baby Bonnets, each with Ayrshire embroidered crowns, one with front frills and gathers over the head, a simplistic embroidered example and a third example with piping and white embroidery; Two 1920's Crochet Baby Bonnets; a Quantity of Lace, comprising a narrow Carrickmacross tie, muslin appliqué tie, tape lace Bertha, length of Bruges bobbin flower lace, deep bobbin lace collar, pair of Carrickmacross lace cuffs, two pairs of crochet cuffs and Edwardian crochet jabot 2028 Assorted School Sewing Samplers, showing various stitches, alphabets, needlework techniques, comprising seven similar examples from late 19th century up to 1914, including one example signed "H.A.B 4th Year 1894" 2029 Unframed Alphabet Sampler, Dated 1815, by Mary Lingard, worked with a verse, animal and tree; together with an Unfinished Unframed Alphabet Sampler, probably European, worked in red on wool tabby, featuring a bead work flower basket to bottom left hand corner; and a Cream Linen Panel, featuring sewing stitches and techniques, dated 1866 (3) 2030 Twenty Assorted Unframed Samplers and Embroidered Pictures, mainly worked in wool, some unfinished and undated, including an example by Martha Verdier, dated 1881; a further example by Elizabeth Whittaker, dated 1802; dated examples ranging from 1805-1933 180-250 2031 Seven Mid-Late 19th Century Unframed Mainly Woolwork Samplers, together with a Round Berlin Woolwork Stool Panel, depicting birds; a Nightie Case, embroidered with pixies; a Drawstring Reticule, embroidered with flowers; and a Mid-19th Century Cotton Bag, embroidered in turquoise and beige silks 2032 Quantity of Late 19th to Early 20th Century School Sewing and Embroidery Samples, including a French crochet sample book dated 1889; three further sewing sample books from 20th century; sample of darning and buttonhole work dated 1880; and eight other items

Papillon Esq. Crowhurst Park Sussex, hand sewn; a Gentleman's 19th Century Short Waistcoat, of purple woven silk with silver flowers and foliage, backed with brown cotton, lacing at waist level, interior lining of cream cotton throughout; and a Pair of Possibly 18th Century Gentleman's Cream Silk Satin Breeches, buttoning and small pocket to waistband, centre front drop down panel, draw cord to centre back, draw strings at knees, appliquéd with ruched silk ovals bordered with cerise pink silk velvet (4) 140-180 2041 18th Century Candy Pink Quilted Petticoat, lacking drawstring, quilted with mainly foliate designs including stars, cream linen interior 2042 18th Century Mid Blue Silk Quilted Petticoat, lacking drawstring, quilting of regular repeat nature pattern until bottom third of skirt quilted with tulips and undulating foliage, lined in cream linen; and another 18th Century eau de Nil Silk Quilted Petticoat, design of flowers and leaves, applied cream silk waistband (probably later), cream linen lining
