From twodimensional ink prints that you or a service provider takes, we create keepsakes using the time-honored process of lost wax casting. The resulting Thumbie is three-dimensional, inviting you to touch and feel the ridges of the print of your loved one. The backside is finished with personalized engraving that further echoes the connections you share. Thumbies keepsakes mark key moments throughout life. Creating Keepsakes We create keepsakes of the people and the times we want to remember. We gather them for ourselves. Some we discard as the dust gathers; others we save to pass on to our children and our grandchildren. Original 2-D ink print Finished 3-D Thumbie keepsake Face Styles Your Standard Thumbies charms are available in four different face designs: full fingerprint, rimmed fingerprint, handprint and footprint. Full print Rimmed print The clearest portion with the greatest interest is selected. Precious Metals The finished cast replicates all of the ridges and life lines in the original print. Thumbies products are available in sterling silver, 14k white gold, and 14k yellow gold. They are slightly domed on the print side and flat with a burnished finish for engraving on the back side. Earrings Two types of Thumbies earrings are available: lever-back ear wire, and post and nut. A lever-back ear wire hangs freely below the lobe, while a post and nut earring fits snugly against the ear lobe. Two different prints may be used when creating a pair of earrings. Charm Bracelets Many women start an heirloom charm bracelet with a Thumbies charm of a child or grandchild, adding to the bracelet over time the Thumbies of others who are special to them, even the prints of family pets! Bracelets are available in sterling silver and 14k yellow or white gold. Meadow Hill s double link charm bracelets come in two lengths: 7 and 8. The purchase of a Bracelet includes the soldering of one charm onto the bracelet. Charms are purchased separately.

Yet, when the idea of keepsakes is introduced, their attitude often changes. Meadow Hill offers keepsakes for men that can be either worn or carried. Tie Tac / Lapel Pin Both the Standard and Grand Thumbies can be made into a tie tac or lapel pin. A post with clutch receptor is laser attached to the backside of the piece. The tie tac has a longer post. Gold, Grand lapel pin Cuff Links Two Thumbies Standard Charms can be fashioned into a pair of cuff links. The prints can be the same or from two different people. is placed on the wings of the cuff links, providing one line of up to 20 characters and spaces on each link. Key Fob Since most people carry keys, a keepsake connected to a daily routine is wonderfully comforting. A Standard or a Grand Thumbies charm with any of our face designs is embedded in a protective coating of crystal-clear Lucite. Mounted Buddies Meadow Hill offers a number of products on which Thumbies keepsakes can be mounted: a lighter, a pocket knife, and a money clip. Custom mounting on other objects with flat surfaces is available upon request. The time required to create your Key Fob is approximately 8-10 weeks. The Key Fob with charm measures 1-1/2 W x 3 L. Your Key Fob comes with the engraving used on either the Standard or Grand charm within your Key Fob. The Lighter measures 1-1/4 W x 2-1/4 L. The Knife measures 1-1/8 W x 3-1/4 L. 17 18 Standard Charms Chains Any charm can be made into a pendant with the purchase of a chain. 18 box chains are available in sterling silver and 18 anchor chains are used for both 14k yellow and white gold. 21, 24 and 30 chains are also available in all three metals. 18 Leather cords are also available. Sturdy lobster clasps are used on all chains and cords. Birthstones Adding a stone or two couldn t be easier. Our standard birthstones are synthetic. Diamonds, pearls and opals are genuine stones. Genuine birthstones are available for an additional fee. We can also add one of your own stones to your charm.
