REGISTRATION & HOUSING On page 2 of your COUTURE contract, you will notice that registrations and hotel rooms are allocated by the size of your space. After you submit your signed contract, you will then be able to register for these allocated rooms and badges. Should you need any extra badges and/or additional hotel room nights, please contact your Account Executive. REGISTRATION Everyone on the COUTURE floor must have a badge. Full registrations are for the full 5 days and include breakfast and lunch, and access to all the events. Should you need any extra, you may purchase them: Daily: $36 includes breakfast, lunch, all day beverages, and any evening function for that particular day. 5 Day Pass: $,6 5 includes daily breakfast, daily lunch, all day beverages, and access to all evening functions. DESIGNERS The Villas allow world famous brands to have a presence at COUTURE while also having complete exclusivity in their own space with expansive views of the golf course. These ballrooms are provided to the iconic brands as raw space, allowing each brand to fully express their pieces in magical and transformative environments. RETAILERS The over 4,000 COUTURE attendees who cross our threshold during Market Week represent the best in the business; many are already your customers, and all possess the market demographics desirable for your brands; however, to preserve the exclusive nature of COUTURE, attendance at the event is only open to qualified retailers. All retailers must register through the system and be prepared to provide supporting documentation, including store information, lease information and JBT rating. COUTURE has developed a tightly segmented retailer market and divided it into 2 key components: THE CORNERSTONE RETAILER. Established in 2007, the Cornerstone Retailer program uses a series of proprietary metrics to reward a select group of retailers with an elevated suite of amenities at COUTURE. These first-in-class Cornerstone Retailers represent approximately 3 of the best North American and International retailers. From hosted rooms, special events, private lounges, and concierge services, this group enjoys a very special selection of offerings. This elite group is comprised of the iconic names in jewelry retail. THE COUTURE RETAILER. Since opening up the model in 2007, COUTURE has slowly but consistently grown its retailer attendee base. Because of the quality and caliber of the brands, the COUTURE show floor self selects its retailers and those who are not Cornerstone are still among the world s finest retailers. This additional audience is of paramount importance to COUTURE exhibitors, not just as potential future customers, but also for their insight on consumer feedback and emerging trends. Can I get information about these retailers? Yes. Our COUTURE Marketing Manager sends out the Retailer Profile book in March. The Retailer Profile book is limited to our Cornerstone retailers who completed their profile by the published deadline to ensure timely production and delivery of the book in March. In other words, we do not create a profile for every retailer who attends the show (only the top tiers ). Can we send you the Retailer Profile book in Excel? No. We do not/can not legally provide excel files of our retailer lists. Many companies create their own Excel spreadsheets and update them from year to year. If you would like to coordinate an eblast or a direct postal mailing, you may contact Elana Cutler, our Show Manager at elana.cutler@thecoutureshow.com. Please note: You will not have direct access to emails or mailing addresses as they will be managed by a third party fulfillment house. 6

LISTING IN SHOW GUIDE As an exhibitor in COUTURE, you receive a complimentary listing in the show guide. Your listing will contain one image, contact information and salon number. Please log in to a2z to ensure that the directory contact information is correct. You have until April 18th to make any changes. Any changes made after April 18th will not be reflected in the 2017 Show Guide. SHOW GUIDE ADVERTISING Exhibitors who want extra exposure in the directory may want to purchase advertising space. DESIGN AWARDS The COUTURE Design Awards are only open to participating COUTURE exhibitors. All exhibitors have the opportunity to submit one piece to this juried event. A panel of fellow designers, COUTURE s most prestigious retailers, and members of the consumer and trade press review all the pieces in defined categories for technical merit, uniqueness and cutting edge design, and the ability to be sold on the retail level. Submissions are displayed for COUTURE attendees throughout the event, and the entire COUTURE community is also invited to vote on a People s Choice award during the event. The submitted pieces are displayed anonymously onsite at COUTURE to ensure fairness of the competition. The award winners are presented on Sunday, June 4 from 6:3-8:3 pm in Encore Theater. After the awards on Sunday evening, the designers names and salon numbers are placed next to the submitted piece for display on Monday. Yes, but there will be a labor cost involved to do so (from Freeman) unless you bring in your own labor (exhibitor appointed contractor). Can we use our own furniture, chairs, table and exhibits? Yes, but you will not be able to move the furnishings in yourselves. A Freeman labor* person will move it directly to your salon space. You will need to pay a fee for this service. This is a material handling charge based on weight of the furniture. Can we customize the salon header or apply our logo in relief? (salons only) No, the header on the outside of the salon is done in show font in uppercase letters. No logos are allowed on the outside, but you may use logos on the inside of your salon showcase windows (on back of sliding doors). You will need to contact Freeman for a price quote for that. Can we play music in our booth? Yes, but since COUTURE is a relatively quiet show, with smaller aisles and shared walls, the volume will need to be low in order not to interfere with your salon neighbors. OPERATIONS (continued) Altering Salon Exterior: The COUTURE Show Management will not allow exhibitors to alter the outside look & feel of the salons. You cannot swap out the showcases or add light boxes. Each salon is designed so it is a level playing field for all salon designers. Your Freeman representative can explain what can be done with your internal booth set up. ADDITIONAL GOOSENECK LIGHTS FOR DESIGN ATELIER BOOTHS If you are an exhibitor in one of our Design Atelier exhibits and you would like to rent additional gooseneck lights, these can be rented through Freeman s Service Desk located at Reg Desk 1. There will be an additional cost for each light. SECURITY JEWELERS MUTUAL INSURANCE This insurance is FREE to salons and Design Atelier, but you must opt into this; you are not automatically covered. Jewelers Mutual insurance covers the jewelry in the showcases in your booth when you leave it overnight on show days. There is still a vault available should you wish to vault particular pieces that are worth more than $20,000. Please also note, you still need to have your own insurance for theft, damage and fire, during the show. Jewelers Mutual doesn t cover damage of any kind. VAULTS A vault (secure room) is provided for storage of merchandise for exhibitors from one day prior to show opening until the afternoon following the close of the show. The vault is manned by armed personnel. While all merchandise is carefully handled, it is essential that exhibitors make certain there are locks on all pieces checked into the vault and that they are closed and secure. Cardboard cartons or other means of packaging will not be accepted at the vault. VAULTING PROCEDURES: Go to Exhibitor Registration and pick-up your badge. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR BADGE BEFORE ADDING OR REMOVING MERCHANDISE FROM THE VAULT. During vault check-in you will be issued a numbered vault claim check. One part is attached to your bag/case; another is the redemption portion that is handed to you for receipt of your merchandise. Keep the redemption check in order to pick-up your merchandise. In the morning, proceed to the vault with your redemption check and exhibitor badge to withdraw your merchandise. Exhibitors will need official government issued photo IDs, along with a COUTURE issued badge, to enter the event floor and for access to the COUTURE vaults. Personal ID, along with a matching COUTURE badge, will be systematically checked at the entrances and exits. Both IDs must have identical names to gain access to the event floor or vaults. No merchandise will be released without a redemption check, show badge and signature comparison. Exhibitors who remove their merchandise from the show site are totally responsible for their merchandise. 10

Exhibitors are totally responsible for their merchandise. EARLY MOVE-IN WRISTBANDS Our exhibitor registration desk doesn t open to distribute badges until 12:30 PM on Wednesday; therefore to access the halls and your salon earlier than 12:30 PM, you will need a wristband. Please pick up your wristband from COUTURE security which will be located at the entrance of the hallway to the Latour and Lafite Ballrooms. You will need to present ID (photo ID and business card) to be granted access. You will be checked off from an early access list. If you have additional staff without business cards, please have them come with you. 11

JEWELERS MUTUAL INSURANCE COVERAGE If you are exhibiting in a salon or the Design Atelier, and you opted in to the Jewelers Mutual In-Showcase Insurance Coverage, a member of our team will be coming to your booth to deliver an inventory merchandise memo form for you to complete with a piece count and the aggregate value (at cost) for all inventory displayed in the show window. Staff will also come to your space to digitally photograph your showcase window(s) and check that the cases are locked. Please make sure someone is present in the salon until the photographer has been by. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY, JUNE 2nd SO YOU WILL NEED TO VAULT YOUR LINES ON THURSDAY EVENING BEFORE LEAVING YOUR SALON. SAFE RENTAL The rental safe company we recommend for the COUTURE Show is Rolland Safe. Material handling fees (the fee of moving shipments from the dock to your salon) are already included within the price of the safe. 12
