INSIGNIA OF THE ORDER The BADGE of the INSIGNIA OF THE ORDER has an eight pointed white enamelled Cross. Between each arm of the Cross is a gold two headed eagle and the Arms of the Order, which is a white cross on a red oval shield. The Cross is surmounted with a GOLD CROWN and attached by a link ring to a GOLD TROPHY bearing the Arms of the Order. MANTLE OF THE ORDER The Mantle of the Order is a full length red robe, vertically edged with white satin and with a white satin collar. The whole Mantle is lined with white satin. On the left side of the Mantle is an eight pointed Cross also in white satin. Page 2
Grand Priory of Australasia items LAPEL BADGE The Lapel Badge of the Order is an 8 mm enamelled red Badge with the eight pointed white Maltese Cross, all edged in gold. TIE (Official) The Official Tie of the Order is a Navy Blue Tie having a pattern of a white Cross on a red shield and the eight pointed white Maltese Cross. BOW TIE The Bow Tie of the Order is Navy Blue having a pattern of a white Cross on a red Shield and the eight pointed white Maltese Cross. SCARF The Scarf of the Order is a rectangular navy blue scarf having a pattern of a white Cross on a red shield and the eight pointed white Maltese Cross. TIE (Alternate) The alternate Tie of the Order is a plain navy blue tie embossed with the Coat of Arms of the Order including the Motto Pro Fide Pro Utilitate Hominum. Page 3

Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice GCSJ Neck Collarette-Red ribbon With 3 Gold Stripes and with the Insignia of the Order Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice Mantle Collar with 3 Gold Braid finishing 8cm and 3 Gold Stars at each end BREAST STAR OF THE ORDER Gold Breast Star of the Order is worn on the left side of the coat by Knight or Dame Commander of Justice, Knight or Dame Grand Cross of Justice and Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice. The Breast Star consists of a star with eight rays and two intermediate rays on each side of the principal ray; all of gold. The rays are to be faceted or cut; the uppermost of these being covered by a Crown of gold. An eight pointed star, with white enamelled arms is put to the star. Between each of the arms of the Cross is a gold two headed eagle bearing the Arms of the Order being a white cross on a red shield. Page 7
SASH OF THE ORDER The Sash of the Order with the Badge of the Order on the lower edge of the Sash is worn by Knights or Dames Grand Cross of Justice and Bailiffs Grand Cross of Justice. LEADERS OF THE ORDER Commander of Commandery Braid of rank and 1 Silver Bar at each front edge of the collar if K/D of Grace or 1 Gold bar at each front edge of the collar if K/D of Justice. Prior of Priory Braid of rank and 2 gold Bars at each front edge of the collar. Grand Prior of Grand Priory Braid of rank and 3 gold Bars at each front edge of the collar. MEMBERS WEARING OF REGALIA The Regalia of the Grand Priory of Australasia, to coincide with the Regalia of O. S. J. Malta, were approved by the Grand Priory Council in February 2012. By agreement with O. S. J. Malta, where Regalia was changed, the Knights, Dames and Bailiffs of the Grand Priory of Australasia are permitted, at their discretion, to continue wearing their existing regalia.
