Key Management Bios be{y Lorie Baughman is our co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. Starting at an early age, Lorie has always had a drive towards entrepreneurship. Growing up on a 3000 acre grain farm, she decided at age 8 that it would be a good idea to package cracked corn to sell as bird seed. Then, in junior high school, she partnered with a good friend and started a house cleaning business, cleaning homes of family and friends. A degreed engineer, Lorie is known for her relentless drive for improvement and has a real desire to help others succeed along the way. She brings an invaluable amount of business knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a relentless approach towards success for the company. Prior to launching BeYOUtiful Girl, LLC. in 2013, Lorie served 12 years as an executive at a manufacturing company, where she contributed expertise to the manufacturing, engineering, management As a mother of three, Lorie understands how hectic life can be & loves that these products help teach children independence while learning to care for their skin. Kelly Goyings is BeYOUtiful Girl s co-founder and lead designer. She is a very talented graphic designer who has an eye for design and fashion. Kelly was attracted to this business because she has a huge heart and a large desire to see young s develop into confident s, teenagers and adults. Growing up, Kelly had to overcome adversity and teasing by other kids due to her autistic brother. Not only was she confident enough to overcome it, she stood up for her brother and still has a close relationship with him today. A degreed graphic designer, Kelly is known for her ability to create a vision from her client s basic ideas. She operates her own graphic design business and brings start-up business knowledge, a flexible work approach and the ability to create an amazing marketing plan. Prior to launching BeYOUtiful Girl, LLC. in 2013, Kelly spent12 years running her own graphic design company. This company is still in business today. Kelly has used her knowledge & experience to volunteer her time and money to several charities and non profit organizations over the years. FAQ s Q: Where did the founders get the idea for BeYOUtiful Girl? A: The idea of BeYOUtiful Girl started as an embarrassing confession from one friend to the next. After one mom quietly confessed to putting her own daily moisturizer with SPF (which was packed full of chemicals) on her daughter because she wanted her daughter to have some SPF protection for an evening tee ball game but didn t want to put greasy sunscreen on her, the two decided to do something about it. Q: Are all of your products natural and organic? A: All of our SPF products and body & face washes are natural and have certified organic ingredients. Additionally, our lip balm is all natural. Our Super Da Duppity Fun body lotions and body sprays are naturally based and are very mild but are fragranced, thereby making them not truly natural. Q: Why should I care that your products are organic? A: Of course all children are going to be exposed to chemicals at some point in their lifetime BUT because of their size, children get more exposure to contaminants in personal care products than adults do. Their immature organ systems are often less capable of fighting off chemical attacks making it oh so important to use gentle products.
