Fold all circle pieces along template lines. 6. Glue folded flaps of 10 circles to create a chain. 7. Glue folded flaps of 5 circles to create top dome. 8. Repeat to create bottom dome of ball. 9. Glue final flap of center chain to make a bracelet shape. 10. Glue domes on top and bottom, and allow to try. 11. Punch a hanging hole on one tab. 12. String with twine to display.

Snowmen Ornaments White infant socks Styrofoam balls, variety of sizes Thick red ribbon Thin red ribbon Sewing pins Black buttons Felt pieces Scissors White string 1. Turn one sock partially inside-out. 2. Place a larger Styrofoam ball in sock toe. 3. Position smaller Styrofoam ball on top of the larger one. 4. Cut two pieces of string. 5. Use one piece of string to tightly tie between the two Styrofoam balls (the head and body of snowman). 6. Use the second piece of string and tie above the small Styrofoam ball (the head of the snowman). 7. Trim the ends off of both strings. 8. Fold ribbed sock opening down once. 9. Cut a piece of red ribbon for a scarf.

10. Loosely tie in between the two Styrofoam balls (around the snowman s neck). 11. Cut off excess ribbon and fringe the scarf ends. 12. Cut a rectangle of felt for the snowman s hat. 13. Wrap around the top of the small Styrofoam ball and pin in the back. Pull the front of the felt down and pin 1/2 inch up. 14. Fold up felt to create hat brim. 15. Tie thin ribbon around the top of the hat and knot in the back. 16. Create a hanging loop with the thin ribbon and tie off. 17. Pin buttons down on the front of the body. 18. Select pins for the eyes and nose and pin into face.

Snowflake Ornaments 2 silver sparkly pipe cleaners Scissors Twine Borax Paper straw Wide mouth jar 1. Cut two pipe cleaners into thirds. 2. Stack pipe cleaners and twist in the center. 3. Spread pipe cleaner ends evenly. 4. Cut an additional pipe cleaner into 1 inch pieces. 5. Take the 1 inch pieces and twist around each pipe cleaner end. 6. Cut twine, tie into a loop, then tie around one snowflake point. 7. Fill a wide mouth jar with boiling water. 8. Add 1/3 cup of borax for every two cups of water, and stir. 9. Tie loose twine to paper straw. 10. Suspend snowflake in solution. 11. Allow to sit overnight. Crystals will begin forming within a few hours. 12. Remove when crystals have covered the entire snowflake. 13. Place on towel to dry.

Button Tree Ornaments 10-12 buttons, variety of sizes all in the same color palette 3-4 small brown buttons Standard pipe cleaner 1. Sort buttons by color. Select a series of about 10 to 12 buttons of descending size, all in the same color palette. It's helpful to organize the sizes by laying them out in a row. These buttons will create the triangular evergreen tree shape. 2. Then select three to four small brown button, all approximately the same size. These button will form the tree trunk. 3. Take a standard pipe cleaner and fold it in half. At the fold, twist it once to create your hanging loop. 4. Then begin to thread the buttons onto the pipe cleaner, starting with the smallest buttons for the top of the tree and working your way down to the widest. For two hole buttons, one end of the pipe cleaner is fed through each hole. For four hole buttons, thread the pipe cleaner end through two-hole diagonal from one another. 5. Finally thread all of the small brown buttons to create the tree trunk. 6. Twist the pipe cleaner together to prevent the buttons from slipping off and then trim.

Shrink Plastic Ornaments Inkjet shrink plastic Paper punch or scissors 1/4"" hole punch Child's drawings Ribbon Jingle bells 1. Select a child's drawing. Abstract, scribbled drawings work great for this project. 2. Photocopy onto ink-jet friendly shrink plastic. Make certain to lighten the drawing at least 50% -- the image colors become brighter and darker as the plastic shrinks. 3. Punch or cut shapes from the printed shrink plastic. 4. Write your child's name and the year on the back of each shape. Use a permanent marker. 5. Punch a hanging hole in each shape. 6. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. 7. Bake in an oven pre-heated to 275 degrees F for 3 to 5 minutes, and at least 30 seconds after the ornaments have laid flat. During the baking process the plastic will curl dramatically and then uncurl, lying flat. 8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. If the ornaments are still slightly curled, press them flat with the bottom of a cup or bowl before they cool.

9. Cut hanging loops from thin ribbon. Thread through the ornament's hanging hole and optionally include a small jingle bell.
