Scherer s Jewelers has been dedicated for over 114 years and five generations to quality craftsmanship and excellence in the Western New York jewelry industry. On September 8, 1903, Jerome A. Scherer fulfilled his life long dream opening Scherer s Jewelers on Masten Street, in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Scherer never imagined that this opening would mark the beginning of a family business that would still be going strong 114 years later. H. JEROME A father to son tradition was initiated when Jerome s son Hermigild joined his father s dream. The tradition continued through the years. Hermigild s son, Jerome J. Scherer Sr., took over the business and Jerome's two sons; Jerome J. Scherer Jr. and Richard M. Scherer Sr., joined him. Today the business has been taken into the fifth generation by Richard M. Scherer Sr. and the founder s great-great-grandson Christopher M. Scherer, keeping the dream alive. Scherer s Jewelers has maintained a reputation for quality and honesty in service and value.
