Coercion exercices
Coercion exercises is a work that happens in consequence to the previous research called Endless. It consists in an installation generated by 25 drawings laying in a horizontal way over a table. The drawings form a group of exercises in which I actually create a series of mazes. Those mazes are designed to create an intern circuit. While I fence possibilities, the exercise acquires importance in order to create a loop or routine. Such circuits are used in a second term as a script of an ongoing series of happenings and interventions.

Practices

Viraje a derecha 90 grados.- Practices consists in the reinterpretation of each of the twenty-five circuits embedded within the project Coercion Exercises. The aim has been to translate those circuits into different languages, based on the concept of circulation as a power exercise. The project itself is a distended research in which each of the 25 practices becomes a new research with different suggestions. Pavement is a work that took place in the show Marca España in Berlin. The goal of this exhibition was to gather a series of artists with works representing the Spanish image or brand. Trying not to show only the outsider point of view but also the insider s. This piece consists in a black and white DIN A-0 print. It aims to be a sculpture that shows the fragility of the urban exploitation and expansion period that took place in the Spanish pre-crisis period. The pavement represented on this print is the most commonly used during the cited period. 2013 Black and white print on DIN A0 paper Surface

Endless
Endless is a research project in which I propose questions about the urban transit. Those talk about how the actual idea of path within a metropolis has ended being a facility to become an impediment. I m interested in how it finally interfere with the population, generating unalterable conducts or loops. The work so-called Endless consist in an endless series of loops, made through handrails (Firstly the ones used in the Sao Paulo s metro system). I create those loops through the closing of these handrails, by blending them three times. The aim is to obstruct the directional sense of the object in order to create the formalization of a loop. 2014 - Blended handrail Variable size and composition
Sequence I is a project that arises from the previous research line called Endless. It is a video installation formed through records taken in the London s Underground system. It s displayed with two screens positioned symmetrically at 30º. Therefore, the reproduction in loop of a hardly 20 seconds sequence generates a scene without narrative, beginning nor end. 2013 (https://vimeo.com/76375048) Two 16:9 screens Video 22 loop Sequence I
Skydivers is a project that arose from the Spanish need to address the current socioeconomic situation. Not only how it affects us collectively, but also more directly as individuals. I do not intend to lay bare the obvious. Instead, the goal is to approach the sensation of instability through representation. In this way, and in direct relationship with the ongoing dialogue that is maintained between crisis/catharsis, I employ real objects to symbolize the various components of this reality. Thus, with the esthetic formalization of parachuting, it identifies the common sensations of instability, imbalance and vertigo that are central to his proposal. Skydivers

Suite is an installation composed by three reflexive glasses laying on a wall. Normally used as the financial buildings coating, these glasses aim to symbolize and characterize the viewer persona within the context propose in the show Skydivers. They able you to look from the inside but from the outside you only see yourself and the environment in the reflection. Therefore, you are situated inside the exhibition and also taking part. 2013 Installation Three reflexive bronze glasses (300x100 mm each) laying on steel tubes. Suite
Cutaway was made because of an error, its name is a skydiver s term which refers to the situation of error that occurs when a parachute opens entangled. As it s not landable any more, the skydiver must cut away the main parachute and open instantly the emergency one. In the video, this action happens with a huge Spanish flag parachute that is changed to the emergency one proposing a huge variety of interpretations. 2012 (https://vimeo.com/59444599) Video 3:4 3 03 Cutaway
CMYK is an artistic project that proposes an advertising campaign devoid of information, the idea being to divide the exhibit into two halves: urban intervention, where the concept is fully developed, and the exhibit, in which an installation is created as a kind of proposal. This division of the Project is conceptualized in proposal and action. This Project arose in response to the free advertising information received. Its intention is to propose a dialogue, both as an intervention and a response to advertising communication, which I interpret as a means of communication in which the recipient has no voice, having become the object of an excess of unwanted information. The project is specifically based on the printing technique commonly used in the making of posters and billboards, according to the CMYK 4 Color Offset printing process. Synthesizing this model, the advertising campaign that I propose consists of displaying billboards printed in only one of these four colors (Cyan, Magenta Yellow, Key / Black), with the resulting analysis of the four colors, devoid of any information, and of advertising in and of itself. Shipwreck is a work that was carried out at the beginning of 2011, its idea was to create installations in which objects are seen floating and drowning on the ground. Its intention is to show the end of the object/product. The concept of the project is focused on work about the life of an object, its main idea is to show that every object has an ending, be that intended or as a result of erosion over time. A product ceases to exist for us at the moment it enters the trash or falls to the floor, but the object has a life beyond this simple gesture. 2011 Installation in a 6x6m2 space (Variable) Pallets The purpose of this Project is to explore where the end of the object lies.
