Most people just rub it in, but you need to get rid of the dirt and oil the dry shampoo picks up, otherwise it s not really doing its job! If your bobby pins slip out, spray them first with dry 10 shampoo or a little bit of hairspray. This helps give the pin more grip. For the best hold, put the wavy side down towards the scalp the wavy part grabs the hair while the straight part holds it down. It also looks better this way if the clip is still visible. NEVER use a brush on wet hair! Hair is at its most 11fragile when wet and brushing will stretch it and cause breakage, and you ll get more flyaways. Press lips together to blend slightly. To apply fake tan to hard-to-reach places, pop a tanning mitt over a 17 spatula, secure with a hairtie, and then use that to apply a mousse or cream formula to the middle of your shoulders and back. When was the last time you cleaned out the filter on your hairdryer so you 18 get the full air flow? It may just speed up your drying time. Don t forget to regularly clean your hairbrush too or you ll be transferring yesterday s dirt and oil from the trapped hair into today s clean locks. The key is to use your hair colour as a guide, but your eyebrows do not have to match your hair exactly; they can be lighter or darker and still be flattering! For the most natural look, pick a shade that matches your hair colour. For a bolder brow, choose a shade one to two tones darker than your hair colour. To soften your look, go one shade lighter. To create the perfect brow shape, use a technique called brow 23mapping. Start by finding where your brow should begin. Use something straight like a make-up brush (or Benefit s dedicated brow mapping tool) and hold it vertically at the side of your nose by the nostril. The point where it intersects your brow is where the brow should start. For the arch, or highest point, leave the base of your brush in the same place (the curve of your nose) and tilt it so it crosses over your iris. Where it intersects your brow is where your arch should be. Finally, mark where your brow should end. Length is important because it gives your face proportion. Tilt the brush further so it lines up with the outer corner of your eye. If your brow doesn t end here, you can use brow filling product to add length. You need to wet the area down, reshape it to eliminate the cowlick, then blow-dry smooth again. Even if you aren t wearing polish, wipe nail polish remover over the surface of the nail to make a smooth, oil-free surface. Apply two even coats of polish, being sure to cap the nail s free edge by removing most of the polish from the brush and swiping onto the tip. Finish with a gel clear top coat. Many people don t realise the importance of this and will just use their normal facial cleanser for the eyes, which will strip and dry the skin, causing premature ageing. Structurally, the skin around this area is different to the rest of the face it has very few oil glands and is much thinner. I think, what can I do with this, how does this work for me? I don t use lip brushes for example; I use concealer brushes to apply lipstick. People are scared of doing a lip line, they feel a bit wibbly-wobbly. So if you ve got a fatter brush you can do a lip in four strokes.
