CERTIFIED WORK PROTECTION. >> 3 The measures for protecting the employees against work-related safety and health hazards are understood as work protection. The objective is accident prevention and the protection of the employee. This protection deals with the avoidance of occupational accidents by eliminating dangers, with additional protective measures and the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work. The following marking is important for PPE: The CE marking is a marking according to EU law for certain products in the context of product safety. By applying the CE marking, manufacturers confirm that their products comply with the applicable European directives. The CE marking, the obligatory mark of conformity for certain products sold within the EEC, is divided into 3 categories: Category I - simple design Product requires CE marking Category II - medium design Product requires CE marking and EC type examination certificate Category III - complex design Product requires CE marking and EC type examination certificate, quality assurance system for the final product and a production quality monitoring system through a designated body. Technical information and an EC Declaration of Conformity must be available for all products. EC Declaration of Conformity: With the EC declaration of conformity, the manufacturer confirms that a product placed on the market complies with the basic health and safety requirements of all relevant European directives. The EC declaration of conformity is the basis for the CE marking of the corresponding product. Type examination certificate: This certificate proves that a prototype satisfies the relevant provisions of the directive 89/686/EEC Personal Protective Equipment. Manufacturer's information: Products (protective clothing and safety gloves) must be offered to the user with written information in the national language or offered for downloading. 4 << SAFETY IN THE HEAT OF BATTLE. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to ensure people's safety. With occupational safety equipment produced by JUTEC, employees are excellently prepared for working at workplaces exposed to heat.
