NATURE s moisturiser 3 Hyaluronic acid (HA) occurs naturally in the skin where it performs several functions, including: Retaining moisture within the deeper layers of the skin to help keep it naturally hydrated Giving skin a natural flexibility, so that it can move with the body providing important antioxidative functions in the skin Activating dermal fibroblasts and increase production of collagen and other extracellular matrix components HA has a rapid turnover in healthy, young skin It is constantly being produced, circulated and broken down by the body 1 HA declines with ageing 3 The cycle of HA synthesis and degradation also slows down and becomes less efficient, altering the quality and distribution of natural HA in the skin consequently, skin is less able to retain moisture and loses volume HYDRATION from deep within for visibly glowing skin Restylane Skinboosters contain stabilised, non-animal HA gel.
