Gorilla Costume Instructions: 1. Shirt - Find 2 cheap slightly larger than your size t-shirts of DIFFERENT dark colors like: black and gray, or black and dark brown, or black and beige, or black and tan, or tan and gray, or brown and gray. You choose. Use old or Good Will items. These shirts will be cut and altered. Solid Shirts preferred but they may have small, unobtrusive logos. Turn and wear inside out to hide logo. 2. Cut 1 inch strips up from the bottom of the shirt to about mid-chest. It will look like fringe. Stretch each strip, and tie a knot some where in strip. Vary knot placement. Repeat on sleeves. Repeat on the other t-shirt. 3. For your costume, you will also need to glue or pin the felt gorilla chest onto the top t-shirt. You will layer the two t-shirts over your required black, gray, or brown tank top (girl)/t-shirt (boy) Two t-shirt layered over each other Get a felt Gorilla abdomen piece from Mrs. DeGroot.
