Age Divisional Winners will receive a crown, trophy, and banner. 1 st runner-up will be awarded in age divisions with four or more contestants and will receive a trophy. 2 nd runner-up will be awarded in age divisions with six or more contestants and will receive a trophy. Divisional Casual Wear winners will receive a trophy. Divisional Photogenic winners will receive a trophy. Prettiest Hair/Eyes/Smile winners will receive a medallion. All participants will receive a trophy. Judging: Judges will have prior experience in pageantry. They will be informed that Sunday dress or pageant dress is acceptable; hair and make-up should be age appropriate. Judges will score based on beauty, poise, personality and attire. Judges will look for personality vs. modeling in ages 4 years and younger. We recommend children 4 and younger have an adult on stage with them. Judging criteria for beauty and casual wear is as follows: Each contestant may receive a maximum of 90 points for beauty and 90 points for casual wear (30 points per judge X 3 judges). Judges will be looking for beauty (first impression, facial beauty, and physical features), attire (complimentary of contestant, age-appropriate, and fit), and poise/personality (posture, selfconfidence, smile, and modeling). Tie breakers, if needed, will be determined by each judge choosing his/her winner in the collective judging at the end of each age division. The divisional winner is the contestant with the highest casual and beauty score from that age division unless a contestant bumps up to an overall title. In that case, the contestant with the next highest score will become the divisional winner. The overall winner(s) will be chosen by a combined score of beauty and casual wear. Judges are not allowed to be approached before, during, or after the pageant. Miss Dream Team Oktoberfest Community Spirit Competition: The contestant who collects the most signatures ($1 each) will receive the title of Dream Team Miss Oktoberfest Community Spirit! You will receive a large crown and trophy! ALSO, if you collect $100 or more, $50 of your earnings will be donated in your name to your favorite charity or one of Dream Team s favorite listed below: American Red Cross Lachlan McIntosh Tannery Foundation Our Daily Rest Oconee County Humane Society United Way Hospice of the Foothills This is an opportunity to get community support from your friends and family and also give back to a great cause!
