freelancer This book is divided up into the different titles in which I have been labeled as a designer. So we start out with Jelise Roberts the Freelancer. Outside of my job, I have gained a lot of experience through freelance projects. I have worked on anything from a business card and stationery to signage and web layout design and much more. I am always excited for a new opportunity to grow and experience the lengths that design can go.

Objective The Jimmy McDaniels Foundation wanted a logo that was rhythmic, clean and classy Like Jimmy McDaniels. The logo stayed in black and white to symbolize the notes on a sheet of music. This project included designing stationery, web concepting, and panels for exhibition. The Jimmy McDaniels Foundation was formed in honor of the late, musician, Jimmy McDaniels. These 35 x 48 panels have been displayed at Butler University and are currently on exhibit at the Crispus Attucks Museum in Indianapolis, Indiana. They will continue to be exhibited in various areas. Objective This was an energetic and extremely talented group in Atlanta, GA. They wanted a logo that would represent their energy and passion for music. The top CD cover was featured on Russell Simmons web site Global Grind in 2010. UNDERGRADS

Objective The Jeremy Lincoln Foundation was formed by Jeremy Lincoln a now retired NFL athlete. He has had a free football camp for the past 16 years Pro NFL players offer there time with young aspiring athletes to help enhance their skills on the field as well as in life. The Logo is merged with the foundations initials J, L and F with a smooth sporty touch. JEREMY LINCOLN FOUNDATION

Objective MACS Lounge will be a jazz restaurant based out of Indianapolos, IN. The name Macs derives from the name McDaniels. The McDaniels Family are in the process of opening a restaurant that will teach the history of jazz and the history of the McDaniels brothers, who were all jazz musicians. MACS LOUNGE

Objective Project V.O.I.C.E. Inc, is a non-profit organization that works with other organizations to help raise awareness about domestic violence and human trafficking. I designed a flyer for a fundraising event entitled A Woman s V.O.I.C.E. Art Show in 2011. This project included logo, stationery and web design. V.O.I.C.E. (Victory Over Intense Circumstances & Elevating to Purpose)

Objective The My Music is Major Art Showcase is to raise awareness about the importance of music through art. The arts are in danger of being eliminated from our schools, leaving our children without a way to express themselves creatively. All proceeds go to the Charles W. McDaniel Scholarship Fund to help young musicians further their musical education. This project included logo, stationery, marketing materials and web design. MY MUSIC IS MAJOR

Objective Light up the Runway was apart of the Susan G. Komen organization in Toledo, OH. It highlighted breast cancer survivors as their models with fashions from local vendors from within the community. SUSAN G. KOMEN

Objective Art Meets Pink is a fundraising event that will happen once a year where artists from around the nation come together and do a piece of art that is dedicated to the survivors of breast cancer. This is a concept poster for next years event. ART MEETS PINK

CREATIVEDirector

Objective King Strategic Communications (KSC) is a politcal direct-mail marketing firm that represents candidates from all of the nation breaking the ice KING STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS between voters and politicians and informing them about the candidates qualities. They also do advertising and marketing for various small companies in Ohio.

Objective These were pieces that were presented to Senator Portman to hire KSC as his direct mail marketing firm. Working with copywriters, I designed a series of pieces marketing KSC. KING STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

Objective Having Governor John Kasich as a client was something that the whole company took great pride in. The piece above was his intro piece into the campaign. He wanted it to be warm and inviting with a slightly edgier approach then most political mail. KING STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

LogoCREATOR Logos are something that I have grown to love over the years. With each project is a new challenge of helping build a brand. It can be very fun and frustrating at the same time, but in the end I just want to make sure the client gets exactly what their heart desires. I want to do my part in helping make their vision a reality.

Objective These logos and icons are from various clients around the US. My main goal was to help give their vision an identity that represents their organization in the best way possible. LOGOS

FIneARTIST My first love! My mom always said growing up I never had a lot of toys in the floor but I always had coloring books, paper, crayons, colored pencils and paint everywhere. FUN FACT: I won my first art contest in pre-school and my love for art grew from there.

BC (Before COMPUTERS) When time permits I like to go back to my first love. ART! Drawing, painting and photography. YES...I think I m a photographer too! Ha! VISUAL ARTS

ART & SOUL ART SHOW The Art and Soul Art Show was put together to pay tribute to African American Musicians throughout history for Black History Month. I was one of the featured artists for this event. I used charcoal, colored pencil, graphite and ink as my featured mediums. VISUAL ARTS
