Material Safety Data Sheet Section 1: Product Identification MSDS Code: 8334 Related Part Numbers: 8334-3ML Use: A quick bonding adhesive. Name: Super Glue Gel Section 2: Hazardous Ingredients CAS# Chemical Name Percentage by weight ACGIH TWA Osha Pel Osha Stel 7085-85-0 Ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate 86-99% 0.2ppm N/E 0.3ppm Section 3: Hazards Identification NFPA Ratings: Health 2 Flammability 2 Reactivity 2 HMIS Ratings: Health 2 Flammability 2 Physical Hazard 2 Eyes: Skin: Irritates eyes, causes tearing from eye irritation. Adhesive will disassociate from eye / eyelids over time, usually within several hours. Temporary weeping of eyes / double vision may be experienced until clearance is achieved. Prolonged or repeated contact at elevated levels may cause dermatitis in sensitive individuals. Inhalation: Ingestion: Chronic: Irritation of mucous membranes / coughing. Prolonged or repeated exposure at elevated levels may produce allergic reactions with asthma-like symptoms in sensitive individuals. Lips may become stuck together. It is almost impossible to swallow cyanoacrylate as adhesive, solidifies upon contact with saliva and may adhere to inside of mouth. No residual effects of acute properties. Section 4: First Aid Measure Eyes: Skin: Flush areas of contact with water. Get medical aid. Immerse bonded areas in warm, soapy water. Peel or roll skin apart. Remove cured adhesive with several applications of warm soapy water. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Ingestion: To unstick lips: apply copious amounts of warm water and encourage wetting / pressure from saliva inside mouth. Peel or roll (do not pull) lips apart. Adhesion inside mouth: saliva will lift adhesive in 1-2 days, avoid swallowing adhesive after attachment. PAGE 1 / 1 MSDS Code: 8334

Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures Autoignition Temperature: Extinguishing Media: N/E Flash Point: >81 C (178 F) LEL / UEL: N/E Use water spray, or dry chemical extinguisher. Section 6: Accidental Release Measures Spill Procedure: Polymerize with water. Solid material may be scraped from surface. Section 7: Handling and Storage Handling: Avoid breathing vapor, contact with eyes / skin. Allow product to reach room temperature before use. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not ingest or inhale. Do not expose container to heat or flame. Storage: Avoid moisture, direct UV - sunlight and do not store above 25 C. Keep containers closed tightly when not in use. Ideal storage 5-10 C. Section 8: Exposure Controls Routes of entry: Ventilation: Eyes, ingestion, inhalation. Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below exposure limits. Personal Protection: Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles. Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Use a NIOSH approved respirator when necessary. Section 9: Physical and Chemical Properties Physical State: Liquid Odor: Stimulative Solubility in water: Immiscible Evaporation Rate: N/E Boiling Point: >100 C Specific Gravity: 1.1 @ 25 C Vapor Pressure: <0.5 mm Hg @25 C Vapor Density: N/E ph: N/A Section 10: Stability and Reactivity Stability: Conditions to avoid: Incompatibilities: Polymerization: Decomposition: Stable at normal temperatures and pressures.
