Your feet in our hands... Our history County Footwear is part of the Halo Medical business, which was originally founded in 1858. The County Footwear brand has its origins in Northamptonshire, the historical heart of British shoemaking. The County Footwear factory has operated in Kettering and now Wellingborough, Northamptonshire since the 1940s, establishing a strong reputation for quality. From early beginnings in retail, corporate and leisure footwear, the business has evolved to focus on bespoke medical products in the last 30 years. With Halo Medical, County Footwear joined with the former Cox and Halo Healthcare Orthopaedic businesses. Due to the close connection County Footwear has with the clinical providers across the UK, the manufacturing team based in Wellingborough have been able to design and develop the most suitable and complete range of therapeutic footwear available in the UK. County Footwear moved into their brand new factory in March 2014. The factory focuses on manufacturing the highest quality therapeutic footwear. The team combine traditional skills with the latest technology to deliver the most suitable products for their customers. The attention to detail of the skilled shoe makers, ensure County Footwear remains the first choice for patients. 2
TOTAL FOOTWEAR SOLUTIONS Bespoke footwear Full bespoke offering available. Some style ideas are suggested within the catalogue however we are able to make other styles to suit your patients requests. All bespoke footwear will be sent at a fitting stage unless otherwise stated. Despatched within 10-15 working days. Full colour and material swatches are available on request. Modular footwear These shoes are made on a standard last with modifications (see page 27) to suit the most appropriate fit. All footwear within the modular range will be sent at fitting stage unless otherwise stated when ordering. Despatched within 10 working days of order being received. Any styles in the modular footwear section can also be made bespoke to the individual requirements of the patient. Diabetic footwear The majority of footwear in this catalogue can be modified for the diabetic patient. As standard these will include: Wall toe puffs Soft leather uppers Virtually seam free linings Extra padding As individual requirements may differ our diabetic footwear can all be custom made to the measurements you provide. You can specify what materials you require e.g. lining materials could be leather pig, extra soft brushed leather, soft calf or micro fibre. Rehabilitation footwear Temporary and light weight footwear ideal for use with oedematous or neuropathic feet, ulceration, incontinence problems, swellings, misplaced joints, post-operative, accommodation of bandages and/or casts. Despatched within 48 hours. Adaptations We offer a full range of adaptations on all of our footwear. HOVE See page 19 All shoes are non-returnable. A first fit will be provided on all footwear free of charge. The specific style, fastening, material and colour required must be specified on all footwear orders.
