Our history Mirabello Carrara S.p.A, a Caleffi Group company that operates in the Luxury segment, was founded in order to bring together, in a single business, the taste, experience and creativity of Mirabello S.p.A, the historic company specialising in high-end home linen, with Carrara S.r.L, known for its terrycloth collections distributed in the most prestigious Italian and international boutiques. Mirabello was founded in 1978 with the opening in Milan of a shop specialising in home linen in the artistic district of Brera. The store is still the first port of call for all Milanese looking for elegant and high-quality bed sheets, as well as an authoritative shop window for the latest fashion trends in the household linen sector. 3
1982 saw the founding of the company which, manufacturing under the Mirabello brand, transferred the concept of "fashion" from the clothes industry to that of home textiles. Mirabello represents the point of contact between the world of creativity and design and the textile production experience of the Lake Como area. Carrara is an historic fashion house founded in 1948 by the Carrara family, well known for its collections of terrycloth and household linen. In January 2013 the new Mirabello Carrara company was founded. Mirabello Carrara is the worldwide licensee of the Roberto Cavalli brand, one of the most internationally prestigious Italian brands. Thanks to the creativity of one of the globe's most famous designers, an icon of style and glamour for stars and women all over the world, the company is able to create unique, top-quality collections for the home. 4
In September 2013 Mirabello Carrara signed an agreement with Saint-Tropez town council to develop a new home linen collection inspired by the famous Les Voiles de St-Tropez regatta, which is held every year in the famous Cote d'azur resort, attracting sailors and visitors from all over the world. In March 2015 a license contract was signed for the production and worldwide distribution of the "Trussardi Home Linen" range with the Trussardi brand. The first collection was presented at the international Maison & Objet show in Paris in September 2015. In June 2016 a license agreement was signed for the production and worldwide distribution of the "Diesel brand. The first collection will be presented at the international Maison & Objet show in Paris next January 2017. 5
