Use curved piecing to add the charcoal template B pieces to the black handspray template A pieces. Add to the block. Add the black solid template C piece to complete the block. Trim to 15 square if necessary. Once foundations are complete, trim to cutting lines. Stitch sections B and C together. Remove paper from all sections. Use curved piecing to add section A/B to section C. Once foundations are complete, trim on cutting lines. Stitch sections A-D together as shown. Cut two black handspray 2 1/2 x 44 strips in half. Add a whole strip to each piece. Add to the quilt, mitering corners. Add block A as shown. Remove paper from foundations. Add the black handspray block C-template B to the A-D section using curved piecing, then add foundation E. Add black handspray block C-template A and black solid block C-template C to complete the block. Trim to 16 1/2 square if necessary. Cut two black solid 2 1/2 x 44 strips in half. Add a whole strip to each end of the short ones, making four 2 1/2 strip lengths. Add to the quilt, mitering corners. Layer, baste and quilt as desired. Bind with remaining black solid 2 1/2 strips. Assembly: Join block C together, matching seams. Add four black handspray 2 1/2 x 44 strips to the block, mitering corners. Add block B as shown.
