See you in August!
Tatiana Barsukova Hi there! My name is Tatiana. I am originally from Russia. I am a business major. I love meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds. I find it very interesting and that's why I decided to become a GTA. I understand how hard it can be to adjust to a new environment when you study abroad, so I am here because I want to make this transition for new international students as smooth as possible and help them enjoy it and make new friends. I am very proud of Fordham and I am very excited to share this pride with freshmen and welcome them to the Ramily!
Olivia LaBarge Hello everyone! My name is Olivia, I am from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and I am a Sophomore at FCLC. My major, though undeclared, appears to be International Political Economy, and I m excited to use what I learn at Fordham to go into the world and work towards women s equality around the world through education, entrepreneurship, and empowerment. At Fordham, I m the Secretary of the Model United Nations team, which competes in collegiate conferences and is hosting a high school conference for the first time this year(!), and when I m off campus I love to do yoga, walk in Central Park, look at cute dogs in Central Park, eat good food (sometimes in Central Park), and spend hours studying in the coffee shops around here. I m an American student, so this is my first Global Transition, too (exciting!) but I joined the team because it s an awesome program and because being in New York City means we have the world at our fingertips, so why not take advantage? This is going to be a great start to a great year I m excited!
Saya Uotani Hello! My name is Saya and I will be one of your GTAs this summer. I attend Fordham College at Lincoln Centre and am majoring in New Media and Digital Design, minoring in Fashion Studies. I love to dance, sing, and write, and consider myself a pretty creative and theatrical person. I became a GTA because I really enjoyed the program as an incoming freshman, and through it saw how important it was to help others transition not only from high school to college, but also from a completely different country to the US. New York City has so much to offer, and I am so excited for all of you to discover all the amazing aspects of it. See you in August!

My hobbies include playing soccer and tennis. But I love watching films and tv shows for leisure. My taste for entertainment extends from American to Asian (E.g. Korean Drama). I became a GTA because I enjoy meeting new people who I can potentially have a connection with, and therefore create long lasting friendships with them. I was also a global transition participant and I ve made numerous friends who I can casually talk to when I see them in the school corridors or outside of school.
William Ritter I was born in Altus, Oklahoma. From there I lived all over the United States until I moved to Ramstein, Germany. I later moved to Seattle, and then back to Stuttgart, Germany. My dad was pilot in the Air Force, and the rest of my family has served in the military in some capacity. My dad recently retired, and my family now lives in Abu Dhabi. I am currently studying for a major in Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Arabic. I am a member of the New York Navy ROTC Battalion and I am training to be a pilot in the Navy to follow in my father's footsteps. By daylight, I am a student, but at night I patrol the streets of New York dealing out vigilante justice one swift punch at a time. Star Wars is my life. I look forward to meeting all of you, and I hope that you have a great year. Don't be afraid to ask me about any questions you have about Fordham, New York, or if you just want to chat.

Mega Sidharta Hi, my name is Mega and I m from Indonesia. I m a natural science major. I am also on the pre med track as I am looking into becoming a doctor. One of my hobbies is baking, especially multiple layer cakes. Because Indonesia is such a big and diverse country with many islands, my love of traveling developed since I was very young. One of my favorite things in New York is the large variety of food and that is why I love going out into the city and finding good places to eat. At Fordham, I am a part of the Health and Wellness club and we plan events that help students build a healthier day to day routine. I became a GTA because I wanted to introduce New York City to the incoming students and especially to Fordham.

Global Transition helped me connect with people as international as I was, while making me feel welcomed into the Fordham family. I decided to be a GTA to help incoming freshmen have the same experience. I hope you have a great summer, and remember that I m here to help you with any questions you may have. See you soon! Cullen Ogden Hey! My name is Cullen, I'm an Anthropology and Art major at FCLC going into my Sophomore year. Although I grew up primarily in the southwest US, I went to high school in Seoul, South Korea and graduated early to take a gap semester in the United Kingdom, which sparked my passion for travel and studying culture. I love finding cute coffee shops in parts of the city i've never been to, spending too much time at the Met, and listening to pretty much every type of music under the sun. I was in Global Transition last year and, even as an American citizen who spent most of my time in the US, I found GT to be one of the best parts of my Fordham experience to date, which is why I can't wait to help start your time here at Fordham on an amazing note!
