User Guide Replacement of Ion Twister and Ion Roller Bushing 1 Turn right and pull out the ion twister as showed in the figure above. 2 Insert and turn left the ion roller tightly. After using skin scrubber or ultrasonic massager, coil the lines of those devices twice smoothly, make the letters printed on the grip of them turn upwards and keep the lines in main body. Features of Herkin 1) Summary HERKIN is a kind of Personal Combined Stimulator for Medical use with three functions such as ultrasonic massager, skin scrubber and ion. 2) Features and Merits of Herkin A lot of medical instruments including skin scrubber, ultrasonic massager and ion devices have been introduced in the current market. First, regarding the functions and use purposes of the devices, skin scrubber is used to improve outside of skin by eliminating keratin and dirt from the skin; ultrasonic massager is used to burn fat, to strengthen cytoplasm and to make the blood circulate more freely in skin; and Ion devices are used to help moisture and nutrient permeate into skin and to eliminate waste matter in skin pores. Several effects of the devices above are overlapped, but each device functions only for its main effect. Skin scrubber functions differently from ultrasonic massager in effects due to different vibration methods and frequencies. It is why a combinational stimulator like HERKIN comes into the limelight today. HERKIN is a device that can do the three functions mentioned above perfectly. For instance, the external of skin is managed by skin scrubbing function and the internal of skin by ultrasonic massage function. User Guide 3. Functions of Ultrasonic Massager Skin Revitalization & Balancing of Skin Cycle Ultrasonic waves head vibrates a million taps every second. This ultrasonic massager activates revitalization cycle of skin and metabolism of mother cells. Ultimately it protects skin from aging and losing moisture. Skin Whitening Ultrasonic massager stimulates melanin separated from light color cells to go into blood vessel or lymphatic vessel. It makes skin lighter naturally by removing melanin from epidermis and dermis. Thermotherapy Ultrasonic massager rises in temperature inside of skin and activates metabolism of cells. Preparation before Use (1) Check rated voltage (AC220V) and connect it to the connection part of main body. (2) Take off all the metals (including accessories) attached to user's body. (3) Before using a product, Please make each head and electrodes clean that touch skin directly. 8. How to Use Before using HERKIN, connect power supply line to INLET that is positioned on the back side of product and connect power source code to indoor wall outlet. Power is supplied to devices by lifting up power switch that is connected to INLET. User can select necessary one among various functions. In case of conversion to VITAMIN.ION after using SCRUBBER or conversion to SCRUBBER after using VITAMIN.ION, the last-selected mode is available. (Level and time is initialized) Two more functions cannot be operated simultaneously. 9
9. How to Use 1. Skin Scrubber Before Use For sensitive skin, it is recommended to use ion roller at (+) mode rather than to use skin scrubber at cleansing mode in order to lessen skin irritation. If you use skin scrubber too toughly, you can cause skin irritation and trouble. Then your skin may become red. So please be careful when you are using a skin scrubber. 2. Ultrasonic Massager Apply gel to the part where ultrasonic massager is used. Select Select Instead of gel, a product containing moisture such as massage cream, cleansing cream or cosmeceuticals can be used. It operates for 5 minutes from the moment it is selected. One more push of the button will make the device stop. Ultrasonic massager does not need to set its functions separately. Please apply ultrasonic massager closely to necessary zones while moving the massager at intervals of 3 cm every second. If ultrasonic gel is not used sufficiently, ultrasonic head and skin isn't cohesive each other rightly. If so, ultrasonic waves may fail to be delivered to skin properly. How to Confirm the Vibration of Ultrasonic Massager Drop some water on the head of ultrasonic massager that is in operation. If water seems to boil, ultrasonic massager has no functional error. Ultrasonic Gel 12 There are several reasons why ultrasonic gel must be used. If ultrasonic massager is not used with gel, small gap is formed between head and skin when applying the ultrasonic massager to skin. Accordingly, ultrasonic waves are reflected and the ultrasonic waves transmission effect lowers. So, user must use gel to minimize bubble formation between skin and head and to apply ultrasonic massager to skin more smoothly. Moreover, ultrasonic gel shows much better permeation effect than any other materials. And it does not cause harmful effect such as skin trouble.

3. Ion Twister (Roller) Before Use Confirm the connection status between ground rod or ion twister (ion roller) and main body. Wrap dripping wet gauze around ground rod and grab the rod with a hand that is not working now. Select a level that is most proper to you. Do not compare the levels with others. User may feel a little pricking. It is not a device error but a normal feeling. Use direction is same as scrubber's. User Guide When Using Ion Twister Lower the bushing of ion twister to confirm whether there is a gap in twister. Insert wet gauze and wrap it around an ion twister. Lift the bushing of ion twister to fix gauze and others. When Using Ion Roller Apply cosmeceuticals of liquid or cream type to skin Attach a wet gauze or mask to face Roll the face with ion roller just as doing massage. 10. Precautions for Use 16 (1) Precautions for Use 1) Do not fix the device to one part while using the device. Move the device slowly in operation. Otherwise, you may get scalded. 2) Do not apply the device to one part for more than 10 minutes. 3) If you want to apply the device to the part where you have already used the device, you must apply the device to the part after more than 5 hours. 4) If you feel something wrong with the device, you must stop using the device, turn off it and contact our head office. 5) If the device contacts with other electric appliances, it may get out of order. 6) Stop using the device and disconnect power cord from wall outlet when lightning starts in the sky. 7) Small amount of gel cannot make ultrasonic waves transmit into skin effectively. So, massage the skin with sufficient gel to make sure that gel membrane is formed between the device head and skin. 8) When you use the device again, you must turn it on after 5 minute turn-off time in order to prevent inner parts from overheating. If the device is used without stop, it may get out of order soon. (2) Use Cautions 1) Do not use the device for other purposes. It can cause an accident. 2) A person who cannot speak his/her mind due to paralysis must not use the device. 3) Do not use the device with other electric appliances (beauty instrument or heating pad) at the same time. The device may get out of order. 4) Do not hit steel or other hard things with scrubber vibration panel, head or ion twister that touches skin directly. 5) Do not use the device in a place of high temperature, high humidity or a lot of dust such as bathroom, kitchen or car. The expected life span of the device can be shortened. And the device may get out of order. 6) If you didn't use the device for a long time, you must confirm whether the device is safe before you use it again. 7) Do not operate the device near electric products such as beauty appliances, TV and radio. Be careful not to connect several power cords to an outlet. 8) Do not put heavy things, water or drinking water on the main body. If liquid gets into the main body, it can cause device breakdown. 9) Note that this product isn't medical instrument. (3) Precautions for Users If you have sensitive skin, you may have a little skin trouble due to metal of the device. If your skin begins to have some trouble due to the device, please stop using the device for a time and use it again after 3 or 4 days. The appliance has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.
