班級 : 四外語 2A 指導老師 : 陳文雄 There were many events happening in my life. No matter they were good or bad, they all were impressive in my memory. The most memorable event in my life is the trip I took to Japan and stayed there for one month in last summer vacation. I went there to study and travel. And that was the first time I went abroad by myself without the company of my family or friends. I went to Tokyo that was located in the middle of Japan. It is a big city in Japan with a large population and a convenient public transportation system. There are many convenient JR lines for people to take. That is the reason why Japanese don't ride motorcycles. The environment also benefits from it. I had learned Japanese for two years before, but I didn't make much progress. I, therefore, decided to go to Japan to experience a true Japanese life there. My school helps me find a wonderful home stay. The family members are not a big one, including only mother, father, and three young boys. They all treated me nice, especially my home mother. She is a wonderful housewife. She prepared delicious meals for me every day, and patiently taught me how to do my homework. On the weekend, my home father took us to the department store for shopping. I love the time that we got together. We were really as sweet as a real family. Through this month, I also met lots of foreigner classmates. They were from different countries, such as America, Canada, England, and Russia. We all learned Japanese together every day. It was really interesting
because I had never seen people with brown hair and green eyes speak Japanese. After school, we joined activities together. The teacher would take us to travel around Tokyo, introduce Japanese culture for us, and sometimes hung out with us together to have a dinner date. I felt so lucky that I could meet those amazing classmates in Japan. There are many differences between Taiwan and Japan, such as the directions, eating habits, time of business, and manners. I had been told that Japanese the most polite people in the world. I think it is totally correct. Every time I met a salesclerk, a teacher, a police officer, or even a stranger on the road, they were all polite to me and always gave me lots of help. Besides, Japanese are very careful about being on time. They almost do with everything on time, and seldom have it delayed without apology. I think the manners are so brilliant a habit that we should learn more from them. I realized that I would have changed a lot when I came back from Japan. I felt like getting more mature and independent than before. I started to cook for my family and took care of them. My parents were both so glad to see my change. We became closer to each other. And what is the most important is that I became a much hard-working student than I went to Japan before. I want to visit Japan again after I graduate from the college to review what I had learned about it.
班級 : 四外語 2A 指導老師 : 陳文雄 A car accident of which I was the victim occurred last year at a road junction. One day, I was riding my motorcycle to buy some food. When I was waiting for crossing the street intersection, a car rushed by a red light and crashed into the ass end of my motorcycle. We had a fender bender. Although it was not a serious accident, I had the jitters because I was shot out of my motorcycle. If I didn t wear a hard helmet, I could have had my head smashed in that position. Fortunately, I just suffered only a minor concussion and slight abrasion on my right knee and back. However, I was very angry at the driver because he tried to hit and run. Luckily, someone helped me on my feet and asked me, Did you remember the plate number of the hit and run car? Did you need an ambulance? I shook my head. I scolded in my mind and reflected, Why didn t the driver observe the rules? Every one should observe the traffic regulations! Finally, I just had to live with my bad luck and went home. Fortune of the misfortune was that I didn't get heavy hurt. Nonetheless, the accident taught me a lesson that wearing a safety helmet is very important. I think the car accident is an unforgettable experience in my life.
班級 : 四外語 2B 指導老師 : 苗新雨 When I was sixteen years old, I went abroad first time in my life. This trip was paid by my mother s company so that we can go abroad without paying the fee of tickets. Before the trip, we prepared our luggage and checked the weather. On the day of the trip, we woke up very early because we had to go to Taiyuan International Airport. I still remembered that when I got into the plane I felt very excited and realized that I really in the plane which would took me to my destination, Bali Island. Bali was located in Indonesia. As soon as we arrived; we went to the place where we lived. There were three rooms and one swimming pool in our private villa. After that, we went to streets for shopping. It was my favorite part; we could bargain to the vendor, we took the calculator and showed the price that we want for buying the thing. Next day, we took the boat to an island, which was called Turtle Island. There were glass windows on the bottom of the boat so that we could see the ocean through the glass windows. Later, we arrived the island; there were several animals, for instance, bat, giant turtle, toucan and giant snake. It was very forgettable for me, because I put the giant snake on my shoulder and took picture with it. It was my memorable trip in my life.
班級 : 四外語 2B 姓名 : 指導老師 : 苗新雨老師 A horrible experience in my life was that I fell into the ditch. When I ended up of the class that day, I always took 27th bus to Taiwan Blvd and Anhe Rd s. intersection and got off at this station. Then, I crossed the flyover and transferred 75th bus to Yumen and Situn Rd s intersection normally. I decided to walk into my mom s workplace to surprise her. Unfortunately my mom wasn t in the office that went out for business. Then I went to the back door of the company to wait for my mom instead. Around a while when my mom's car arrived there, I was ready to step off the sidewalk to get into her car, but I did not see a hole on the ditch and I suddenly fell into the hole. At that time, I felt ashamed, thus, I stood up quickly from the hole and got into mom s car. Then, I began to feel the pain and my left knee and calf appeared a chunk of blood stasis. My mom took me to see a doctor immediately. It was my own fault I didn t pay lots of attention to watch out steps I walked; especially I did not carefully notice the hole on the ditch at that time. How stupid I was! Later, I observed the foot wounds were healed slowly, and I thought I must be careful to walk and watched out of the surrounding environment all the time.
