What: 2017 World of Coca-Cola Art Bottle Competition. Where: Pop Culture gallery at the World of Coca-Cola. Who: Metro Atlanta college students age 18 or older (see list of participating schools pg. 3). How: Participants go to http://cokeurl.com/woccabc to submit a illustration/mockup for preliminary judging. Finalists will be provided with a four-foot tall, three dimensional bottle to decorate. When: 12/31/16 final day to submit initial proposal for consideration 1/16/17 finalists notified and bottles delivered 4/24/17 final day to submit bottle for pickup and judging 5/5/17 winners announced 5/19/17 opening reception Why: Winners will have their finished bottles displayed at the World of Coca-Cola for up to one year. Three grand prize winners each will receive $1,000. The Coca-Cola bottle serves as a unique canvas with its easily recognizable shape.

Call for entries: Are you a college student looking for artistic inspiration? The iconic Coca-Cola bottle has inspired artists for over a century. In 2017, we are hosting a competition inviting creative people from colleges and universities in metro Atlanta to create their own unique design on a four-foot Coke bottle for display at the World of Coca-Cola. The World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta welcomes more than one million guests from around the world each year. Each spring, the World of Coca-Cola presents a new exhibit in our Pop Culture Gallery. Previous exhibitions have included the work of artists such as Andy Warhol, Howard Finster, and Norman Rockwell. Coca-Cola is for everyone now is your chance to make it your own!

Completed forms must be emailed to popculture@worldofcoca-cola.com no later than 12/31/16. You may also include supporting photos of your own work to illustrate techniques or materials you intend to use. Who can enter? Design guidelines: We want you to be creative! You are not required to use any particular materials or common elements in your design aside from the bottle that we provide to you. Bottles may be decorated in the style of your choosing, as long as the final piece retains the contour shape of the bottle, does not exceed 50 pounds, and does not have items protruding more than 6 inches from the surface in any direction. Here are some additional considerations: Bottles may be decorated with materials such as: Paint Adhesive vinyl Paper Photographs Dimensional items than can be securely affixed Elements that evoke Coca-Cola brand values such as inclusiveness, optimism, happiness, refreshment, etc. Bottles may not be decorated with: Names, logos, or trademarks of other companies or organizations (you may use trademarks of The Coca-Cola Company, but it is not required) Copyrighted material Offensive language, symbols, or drawings Weapons or images of weapons Drugs or drug paraphernalia Perishable materials

Frequently Asked Questions: What are the criteria for selecting the bottles to be displayed in the show? Designs will be evaluated on the following criteria: Aesthetic Appeal Uniqueness Creativity Overall Impression Adherence to the original design concept What will I receive if I m selected as a finalist to create my bottle design? Each finalist will receive a four-foot high, three dimensional Coca-Cola bottle made of white hard-coated foam, and a materials stipend of $150 to buy supplies. Participants will not receive any other reimbursement for expenses associated with participation in the competition. Who is responsible for selecting the bottles to be displayed at the World of Coca-Cola and the grand prize winners? The submission phase will be judged by a small team from The Coca-Cola Company. The grand prize winners will be selected by a panel of judges from the local art community based on execution of the original idea. How many people will see my bottle? During the submission phase only a handful of people will see your design. If you are selected as a finalist and your finished piece is chosen for display in the Pop Culture Gallery, it could be seen by over 1 million people who visit the World of Coca-Cola each year.

World of Coca-Cola 2017 Art Bottle Design Competition Legal Guidelines We need your talent! The World of Coca-Cola is inviting artists from 13 local universities and colleges to participate in a Coca-Cola bottle design competition (the Competition ). Up to 20 students will be chosen as finalists to have their bottles displayed at the World of Coca-Cola, and be will invited to the opening reception of the exhibition. Three grand prize winners will each receive $1,000 cash prize. How to Enter Artists must be 18 or older at the time of submission, currently residing in Georgia. Artist must be an undergraduate or graduate student in good standing at one of the designated colleges or universities. Artist must complete the attached form with the idea for the bottle design (the Design ) and the associated Warrant, Release and Assignment form. An individual artist or a team of up to 2 artists can submit up to 3 designs. All artists on one team must sign one and the same release. Send completed forms to popculture@worldofcoca-cola.com no later than 12/31/2016 for consideration. Parameters of Design The Design may not include names or logos of other companies or organizations; copyrighted material; offensive language, symbols, or drawings; weapons or images of weapons; political commentary; perishable materials. Bottles must be free-standing; cannot weigh over 50 pounds; cannot have objects protruding more than 6 inches off the bottle; contour shape of the bottle must still be distinguishable; Coca-Cola script logo may be but does not have to be included. The preliminary Designs received by 12/31/2016 will be reviewed by a panel of judges at The Coca-Cola Company. Artists will be notified by 1/16/2017 if they have been selected as finalists to advance to the next phase of the competition. The Coca-Cola Company will retain ownership of the Design. Phase Contest II of the Contest Between 1/16/2017 1/20/2017 at World of Coca-Cola s expense, a courier will deliver a blank 3D bottle 4 feet in height and made of hard-coated foam with a white base color to the local address provided by artist. Each finalist will also receive a $150 materials stipend in the form of a VISA gift card. Recipient must sign acknowledgement of receipt. No replacement will be given for lost or stolen gift cards. Material expenses exceeding $150 will not be reimbursed. Artist will notify World of Coca-Cola when the bottle is completed and ready for pick up by a courier designated and paid for by World of Coca-Cola. Bottles must be completed no later than 4/24/2016. Artists may be asked to participate in an on camera interview during the bottle design process, and sign a release granting The Coca-Cola Company the right to use their image and/or voice for promotional purposes. All bottles, whether completed or not, must be returned to the World of Coca-Cola. The World of Coca-Cola will retain ownership of the Design and the bottle and the right to display the bottle, whether selected or not. The Coca-Cola Company, its subsidiaries and affiliate and bottlers, and their successors and assigns, will have the unlimited right to use the Design in any advertising, promotions, or merchandising activities in connection with the sale of Company s products. Artists can promote

their participation in the competition and retain photographs of the Materials for use in personal portfolios via hardcopy or social media, but each and every use must contain the following copyright symbol: 2017 The Coca-Cola Company. Bottle Design Selection A panel of art professionals from the local Atlanta community will judge the bottles based on aesthetic appeal, uniqueness, creativity, overall impression, and adherence to the original design concept to choose three grand prize winners from the finalists. The World of Coca-Cola reserves the right not to display completed bottles for any reason. Artists whose bottles are selected for the exhibition will be notified 5/5/2017. Prizes Each artist whose bottle is selected for the exhibition will be invited to attend an opening reception on May 19 of 2017, along with one guest. Grand prize winners will each receive $1,000 cash prize. Winners will be responsible for any federal and state taxes and fees related to the prize. For team-designed bottles, prizes will be awarded per bottle, not per artist.
