This Chinese New Year heralds the arrival of the Year of the Dog. People born in 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, and 2018 will fall under this zodiac sign, and some famous people who share this zodiac birthday are Winston Churchill, Mother Theresa, Bill Clinton, Elvis Presley, Steven Spielberg, Madonna and Li Yuan (the first emperor of the Tang Dynasty 618-907). People born in the Year of the Dog are usually independent, sincere, loyal and decisive. They are not afraid of challenges in daily life. These positive characteristics mean they have many harmonious relationships. Lucky numbers for dog people are said to be 3, 4 and 9 or combinations of these numbers; lucky colours are red, green and purple; and lucky flowers are roses and cymbidium orchids. This programme of events has been made possible with financial support and assistance from: Asia Business Centre
