PETER WIRZ Design of the human touch: this is the creed of Vetica, the design hotbed based in Lucerne, Taipeh, Hamburg and Hong kong. The members of this interdisciplinary, international team surrounding Swiss designer Peter Wirz see through the development processes of industrial products in their form and function and regard themselves as idea smiths not only in matters of design, which is seen as an interdisciplinary process in a wider context. VAL Design by Konstantin Grcic Val single-lever mixer with MyTwin100 handspray KONSTANTIN GRCIC Munich designer Konstantin Grcic is not only one of the most influential designers of his time, he is also renowned for his ability to stretch new materials and production methods to their limits. With the Val SaphirKeramik range, we offered Grcic the opportunity to redefine and push the creative boundaries of bathroom ceramics. The intensive collaboration started with the SaphirKeramik project and focussed on a series of spectacular concept studies based on washbasins with a decorative, functional surface.
