CHUCK 70 HIKER The re-engineered Chuck 70 is inspired by a Yosemite Hiker in the 1970 s. Converse initially designed a prototype around the idea of rebuilding stitching together old military pieces that would ultimately inspire the utilitarian patchwork design on the upper paneling. All four panels of the sneaker differ, in color and material, telling a beautiful story of highs and lows to culminate in a monotone palette. With an extra inch of height, an additional eyelet and narrowed eye rows, the Chuck 70 hiker provides security and stability for its wearer, while the loop in the back enables more lace tying options.
