GAMP 2000 ESA Wi-Fi esa GAMP 2000 Wi-Fi, is protected against reverse polarity, is not waterproof, it s easy to be connected to the equipment of the boat, it uses the data in NMEA 0183 format or NMEA 2000. Note: GAMP does not interfere in any way with onboard instrumentation through the NMEA IN connections. Instruments GAMP is IP54, not waterproof. NMEA 2000 Install GAMP 2000 in a place where there is no data transmission shield from the antenna to the apple device receiver. Please test the range and the connection stability before final installation. GAMP 2000 out wires have the following functions: Hardware GAMP function Red +12V Blue GND/- Green Data IN + Yellow Data IN - Instruments NMEA 0183 Out WARNING: A/+ B/- 12/24V Power GND If the instruments on board using a protocol other than NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000, you must use a "translator"; It will be necessary, for example, for instrumentation like Raymarine NKE. Sometimes the Wi-Fi transmission may disturb the GPS, if the GAMP 2000 Wi-Fi is positioned in the vicinity of the GPS antenna: check and possibly remove the two devices together, 1 meter of separation is generally sufficient. pag 3

GAMP 2000 Jumpers Jumper Function NMEA 2000 Names GAMP Name J1 Power supply VCC NET-S JP1 J2 Power supply GND NET-C JP2 J3 J4 Shield Terminator Shield Terminator JP3 JP4 J1, J2,J3 are the NMEA 2000 power jumpers. Connect this jumper if the GAMP 2000 will be power by the NMEA 2000 network, otherwise disconnect the jumpers if powered by the GAMP 2000 power pins. J4 connect the jumper in order to terminate the NMEA 2000 network, if the GAMP 2000 is the last device in the NMEA2000 network connect the jumper, no additional terminator is needed. Creating a NMEA 2000 Network The main communication channel of a NMEA 2000 network is a backbone to which your NMEA 2000 device are connected. Each NMEA 2000 device connects to the backbone with a T-connector. The NMEA 2000 backbone must be connected to a power connector, and terminators must be installed at both ends for the network to function correctly.
