Initially aimed at manufacturing 100% combed cotton yarn, the company is now gaining expertise in Auto coned SIRO cleared cotton yarns for various Warp and Hosiery applications. The range of products includes yarn developed from organic cotton. From a contemporary blow-room and advanced machines for carding, combing and drawing, to high-end Cone Winding machinery and Autoconer, the infrastructure is equipped for producing superior quality yarn. With a proposed expansion plan of additional spindleage and an OE Plant, SCM Spinners is well on its way to spinning success

helping healing hands hearts SOCIAL CARE Understanding the need for a devoted organisation to oversee our social commitments, we established our own charitable foundation 'AKN Charities'. AKN approaches every activity with renewed vigour and is whole-heartedly dedicated to serving the lesser privileged sections of the society. The foundation supplies books and medical aid to deprived children. Every year eye camps are held, and so far 17000 people have been tested as well as 4500 patients operated. AKN has always risen to the occasion in case of natural disasters. During the 2005 Tsunami, the foundation rendered timely assistance through the NGO 'Care India'. Our staff is also actively involved in blood donation camps from time to time.
