DRESS CODE 2016-2017
At Soille we believe dress code clothing should be representative of a student in a Jewish, educational institution. Goals of the dress code at Soille Hebrew Day: Build unity within the school community Create and sustain a positive learning environment Ensure Tzniut Alleviate morning stress GENERAL GUIDELINES: Items should be clean and in good condition. Determination of these factors is, of course, a judgement call. However, some guidelines may include: no major stains of a darker color, no visible holes, no strands coming off the material, etc. SHIRT COLORS: Starting 2016/2017 school year, we will be adding additional color options for shirts to the dress code. The colors added were selected to be aesthetically cohesive and easily accessible to all families at a variety of price points. The additional choices allow students to continue wearing their current shirts, or pass them on to younger siblings, and provides more flexibility for lighter colors and more appealing choices for both girls and boys. We appreciate your cooperation in sticking with these colors and styles to maintain uniformity, and so we can continue to offer variety.
