MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS Dear Valued Customer, 2 We take this opportunity to introduce Designtex Group, our business conglomerate to all of you at home and abroad. It all started in the year 1997 as a Trading House. After moving on with this, the group transformed itself from a modest Trading House to a notable full-fledged RMG Manufacturer. The growth was remarkable, so was the reputation we earned from our buyers and stakeholders. And it all happened just for a single reason-- our Vision. Our vision made it easy for us to go strong after the post MFA era, with the same verve and versatality. DESIGNTEX SWEATERS LTD Designtex Sweaters Ltd. Is a 100% export oriented sweater factory. Established in December 2001, the factory is a fully compliant, BSCI certified manufacturer of quality Sweater Products. OUR STRENGTHS Design, Sourcing and Development We have our own in house design team. Our Head designer is from Europe. We develop four collections per year on show to all our customers. We do extensive research in sourcing new yearns, fancy knit stitches, new fashion ideas and shapes. Our creativity and inspiration is in parallel to Europe, We are fast from design to sample development. We develop also exclusive designs for individual customers. Designtex Fashions rolled out in 2005 with 6 sewing lines. In 2008 it became a factory of 10 sewing lines, enhancing capacity to produce fine-knit apparels using various kinds of fabrics like Cotton/ Elasthane, Cotton/Polyster blends, 100% Viscose, Viscose/Elasthane blends etc. Now the factory is housed in a 4-storeyd building with a total space of 52 thousand square feet. Besides, an in-house printing facility is there within the factory premises. The factory is BSCI compliant and gets audited at a regular interval by buyers. Golden Refit Garments Ltd. (GRGL) went into operation in 2002, with a vision to be country s one of the finest and well-rounded manufacturers of Fleece, Polar Fleece, Jacket, Sleeping Suit and etc. This is a joint-venture modern garment factory that applies Taiwanese Production System. The factory boasts of 730 sets of most updated sewing machines, 2 sets of 20 headed Tajima (TFKN) Embroidery Machine & Lectra System in pattern. The company is also a certified one by ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001:2000, Wal-mart, Li & Fung. The company s buyer list which includes: C & A New Wave Charles Vogele 17

ZDD INDUSTRIES LTD 20 ZDD Industries Limited is an upscale Zipper Manufacturing company located at Ashulia. This company takes pride for its strength to manufacture zippers that are the best in class at home and away. The factory was established in 2004, as part of the group s conviction to have a linkage unit that would help the entire industry run smoothly in post MFA period with an uninterrupted supply of quality Zippers. Now, the company has a full range production facility that produces Zippers that can compete in the global level with high quality product-line and competitive pricing.
