Additional Recital Information: Costume Information: o Please put your name, initials, or some way to recognize your items in ALL your costume pieces, shoes, tights, etc. o Please ensure that undergarments do not hang out of costume and do not wear colored undergarments. o Do not wear your costume outside. Get dressed at the theatre to prevent any slips or falls in the parking lot that could stain or rip your costume. o Please do not let your child wear or play in their costume until the recital is over. Costumes are extremely fragile and are not meant to be washed. We will not be able to re-order and receive new costumes in time if something happens to yours. Make-Up Information: o Stage lights are extremely bright and will wash out any and all facial features if no makeup is applied. We strongly encourage all dancers to use at least blush, eye shadow, and lip stick. o Preferred Make-Up Rose Colored Blush Brown tones of eye shadow Red Lipstick Foundation, mascara, eye liner, lip liner, etc., are optional Additional Items To Note: o Please remove all jewelry. Small and non-shiny studs in ears are acceptable. o Please remove all nail polish (fingers & toes) prior to the recital. Tights: o Tights are extremely easy to rip. We suggest having an extra pair of each kind you need. o Nylons that you can purchase at Target, Walmart, etc., are not tights and will have lines on the thighs that will show and not work for the show. o If your child needs Footed tights, you can order footed or convertible tights. If your child needs Footless tights, you can order footless or convertible tights! o We can order tights for you if you prefer to ensure you get the right color, etc. Place your order early. Dance Gear Suppliers tend to become backed up in April and May. If you want us to order, please let us know your child s height, weight, the type of tights (footed, footless, or convertible) and the color.
