2033 Pair of 1920s Printed Velvet Curtains, depicting musicians serenading regal Indian figures in Summer houses, surrounded by animals and birds, amongst stylised gardens, printed in strong colours of green, red, purple and gold, 235cm by 120cm 2034 A Late 19th Century Black Wool Pelmet, profusely and densely embroidered in mainly gold threads, with the addition of pink silk thread within flowerheads and a regular pattern repeat, of stylised teapot design, 120cm by 31cm; together with Two Matching Panels, being the two halves for a tea-cosy 60-80 2035 Early 19th Century Pieced and Appliquéd Quilt, in mainly pastel shades of blue, beige and pink, regular quilting throughout, the central floral panel surrounded by various borders of different widths and inner designs, side borders turned over by approx 392cm (on two sides), backed in cream cotton, 218cm by 236cm 400-600 2036 Early 19th Century Pieced Quilt, central floral medallion bordered by ever-widening strips of miscellaneous chintz and dress fabrics, strong colours and multiple designs to the varying fabrics, regular quilting throughout, plain cream backing, 236cm by 252cm 500-700 2037 A Late 19th Century Military or Soldier's Quilt, fashioned from wool serge uniform fabric, very bright colours (red, yellow, black and blue), a feature of such quilts made in India at that time usually by servicemen injured in battle, central square block with inner block on the diagonal, containing five circles within which there are two five-pointed stars, further bordered with a chevron border cornered with Union Jacks, the final wide red border featuring three regular large diamonds to each side, small blue squares to each corner and the quilt is bound with blue braid. Reverse side with printed cotton in muted shades of orange and brown, itself in a 'patchwork' print featuring dogs, cats, period dress fabrics, bordering a different 'patchwork' print in reds, dull blues and greens, featuring sailors and naval officers in uniform, on board a ship, courting ladies, overall background colour red featuring strong yellow, black and blue, 250cm by 220cm Provenance: Made by Master Tailor H Cormack during his service in India during late 19th century. Believed to have been serving in Rowalpindi 700-1000 2039 Silk Pin Cushion, Dated 1829, bearing the verse "Fathers hope, Mothers joy, Welcome either Girl or boy 1829"; and an Undated Silk Pin Cushion, bearing "Welcome Sweet Babe" (2) 2040 Nine Assorted Bone Lace Bobbins With Spangles, including four named examples, 'Mary', 'My Love...Love Me', 'John Bunyan', 'Forgit Me Not' (sic), and 'Henry' (a.f.) 40-60 2041 A Victorian Brass Needle Case 'The Quadruple Golden Casket', together with a leather needle case and two plated thimbles (4) 50-80
