With a little TLC, it s not unusual for Blundstone boots to last for years. Our boots are crafted from the best available leathers and components, employing the expertise gained over 140-some years of bootmaking. Leather is a natural material so your boots will benefit from the following care: If your boots get wet, stuff with newspaper to absorb the moisture and to keep the shape of the boot. Always dry them at room temperature never with or by a heat source! To keep the boots weatherproof and pliable, you should dress the leather with a suitable wax based treatment after cleaning. We recommend the use of our Blundstone Oily and Waxy leather conditioner. Cleaning A mixture of one part vinegar to three parts water is a perfect natural cleaner for your boots, especially effective for salt stains. Commonly asked questions. Are Blundstone boots water resistant? Our weatherproof leather is as water resistant as any leather can be, while still allowing the foot to breathe. If properly cared for, the leather will prevent most water penetration, keeping your feet dry. Blundstone s unique construction with a limited number of seams means there are few places for water to get in. What is SPS? Blundstone s Shock Protection System (SPS) disperses shock at heel strike and reduces skeletal stress. Revolutionary tests indicate that an average of 33% less shock is transmitted to the bones and joints at a walking pace. This shock would otherwise be absorbed by your feet, knees and vertebrae. Can I put a foot bed in my Blundstone boots? Your boots come equipped with an extra pair of foot beds that will snug up the fit. If you don t require the foot beds now, keep them to use as the boots stretch out a bit over time. Boots too tight? The extra foot beds may already be inside the boots. Please remove them and try on your boots again. Do Blundstone boots come with a warranty? Yes! All Blundstone products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship. It is not abnormal for there to be some initial movement in the boot, particularly in the heel area. Length is the most important element when trying them on. All Blundstone boots have reinforced toes which help keep the shape of the boot intact. The boots will never stretch in length. However, they will stretch and mold to the top of the feet, and will easily stretch in width if required. If the fit is initially tight on the top of your feet be patient, it will stretch, or can be easily stretched by a cobbler. 42 Style and size availability subject to change without notice.
