A tentative booking is when you confirm you have received your quote and have asked us to hold your date. Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days; by then a non refundable booking payment of 30% must be made to confirm your booking. A receipt will be issued to you. If payment and signed Terms and Conditions are not received, your booking is not confirmed and others may book your date. 2. Payment can be made by one of the following methods: Cash, Cheque, Money Order or Direct Deposit to: Westpac Bank Account name: Set Your Scene BSB 035 002 Account number 230 520 3. The terms and conditions of your hire items must be signed and returned via post or scanned and emailed at time of paying your deposit to confirm your booking. Prices will not be increased on your agreed items once you have signed the forms. Make sure you have read through the terms and conditions before you sign them. 4. The final numbers must be decided upon & the balance of your account must be paid 21 days prior to the Wedding or Function date. If you choose to pay your balance in installments prior to that date or in advance that s also up to you however we cannot offer any refunds if you change your mind or reduce your quote. If remaining balance is not paid by the due date any discounts offered will be forfeited. If you wish to pay for more than your required 30% booking payment, I suggest leave a gap so any adjustments can be made 21 days out from the wedding. 5. If the Wedding or Function date is moved or postponed (at least 6 months before your original date) and held within 6 months of original event date we will do our best to move your booking subject to our availability. Your booking payment will then count as credit towards your new booking but no guarantees can be made due to other bookings for the same date. If we are unable to move your date due to other bookings then your credit will be forfeited. If booking is postponed within 3 months of event date no refunds or credits will be issued. If new booking is to be held more than 6 months from original date, no credits will be issued. 6. DIY Hire is for a 3-4 day hire period only. Pick up of goods is usually on Thursday or Friday. Other days and times by prior agreement only. - A fully refundable bond of $100 to cover any breakages or repairs is to be placed in an envelope and handed to us at time of pick up. - We will return it to you when our items are received in good, used condition before 7pm on the Monday. Please call to confirm return time. - All chair covers and sashes must come back knots untied in separate bags along with their coat hangers or extra costs will be charged. - Boxes and packaging must be returned with glassware and other items. - Return of goods must be on Sunday or before 7pm on the Monday evening or extra charges will be incurred. 7. No couriers are to be used for pick up and return of Set Your Scene Hire Items. Friends and family members are more than welcome to pick up or return items on your behalf as long as they call us before they come. 8. When we set up for you: a $100 bond must be paid 21 days prior to event along with final payment. It will be returned to you via bank deposit in the week following the wedding assuming no breakages or damages have occurred during the event. Please provide us with refund details on the form below for a savings account not a credit card account. 9. In an emergency situation Set Your Scene reserves the right to substitute hire items with similar items without seeking the permission of the hirer. We will take the utmost care to match colours and design but there may be slight variations. 10. In the case of inclement weather: Set Your Scene will work together with the Bride and Groom along with their Venue to come up with the best alternate plan possible. For example - should you wish to hold your outdoor Ceremony inside, we will do our best to oblige. If you wish to proceed in your chosen location despite the weather we will be happy to do so after eliminating any equipment we believe to be easily damaged or dangerous to users/guests in wet or windy weather. Wet weather back up plans can be made with us if at all possible. No refunds will be provided for changes or cancellations due to inclement weather. 11. Strictly no rose or flower petals of any description including fresh or dried are allowed on the carpets or seagrass aisle runners. Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate and full loss of $100 bond as well as any further damage expenses incurred as determined by Set Your Scene. Please make sure your guests are also aware that petals are not to be thrown on the carpet. Lines of petals either side not permitted either. 12. Set Your Scene will not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by any items hired within the hire period. 13. In the event that damage or loss should occur to any of the hired items (including latex & silk flowers and Ostrich Feathers) - Set Your Scene will charge the Hirer for replacement or repair of goods if damage should exceed the bond paid. Damages will need to be paid for within 7 days so we can replace the items. To avoid this problem, please just announce to your guests that the items are hired, not to be tampered with or taken home. Additional cleaning charges will apply if items are heavily soiled and wax damage will be charged at replacement cost. 14. Wishing Wells or their Keys (or any other hire items) that are taken from the Venue where we have agreed to set up, pack up & pick up will have to be returned to our showroom by 11 am Monday or extra charges will be incurred.
