How to CREATE A Faux Glow PAGE 3 OF 14 HENRIQUE GENDRE/TRACTION ARTIST MANAGEMENT
FAUX GLOW Fake tans have come a long way since Jersey Shore. When done properly and with the right products, your bronzy flush will look so natural, nobody will know it comes from a bottle. Get the fresh-off-the-beach look any time of the year with these three foolproof steps. EXFOLIATE Dead, flaky skin cells block dihydroxyacetone (aka DHA), the ingredient in self-tanner that produces the color. Before applying self-tanner, scrub your body especially your elbows and ankles so your skin won t look patchy. FIND YOUR MATCH Pick a product based on your coloring to avoid an unnatural hue. If you re fair, opt for a formula that develops over time. Try a light bronzing lotion on medium complexions, and just use a bronzer on darker skin tones. GIGI HADID FAIR SKIN MEDIUM SKIN PAGE 4 OF 14 DARK SKIN MOISTURIZE Steer clear of dry skin, an impediment to keeping an even tan, by applying a hydrating cream every day. This will ensure that the color stays intact and eventually fades uniformly. CLOCKWISE FROM TOP: JACKSON LEE/SPLASH; TIPS; JEFFREY WESTBROOK (3); TIPS
How to SHAPE YOUR Brows PAGE 5 OF 14
BROWS Arches are back all over the world (and Instagram). With the overplucked 90s far behind us, it s all about the full yet carefully groomed brow. Make the most of yours in three simple steps, barely any plucking required. CARA DELEVINGNE FILL IN Shade in your brows with pencil to create a guideline for tweezing. Hold the pencil straight along your nostril, then angle it toward the outer corner of your eye to determine their shape. Short, wispy strokes are best for a soft, non-artificial look. TWEEZE Remove only the hairs that fall outside your filled-in silhouette. Pluck a few from one side, then take a step back and assess before turning to the other side. PAGE 6 OF 14 TAME Brush up brows using a spooly, and trim any hairs that really stand out in length. A quick brushing will also blend in the pencil for naturallooking color. Set with clear gel. How to GET Luminous Skin PAGE 7 OF 14

EVEN OUT Using a brush, massage a water-based foundation into skin for a few minutes. The added time spent applying will help create the illusion of an entirely poreless canvas. KENDALL JENNER ILLUMINATE Dab an opalescent highlighting cream onto the high planes of the face, like the cheekbones, the Cupid s bow, and down the bridge of the nose. How to APPLY Fake Eyelashes PAGE 9 OF 14
FAKE EYELASHES Like a shot of B12, faux lashes make you look wide awake and vibrant, no matter how punishing last night was. And with so many new falsies on the market, it s never been easier or more fun to give your eyes that flash of redcarpet appeal. Here s how. KERRY WASHINGTON SEPARATE Whether you re using individual lashes or classic strips, separate your natural set beforehand with a clean spooly brush or a light coat of mascara in a lengthening formula. GLUE Just a drop of tinted lash glue will do the trick. Squeeze onto tinfoil and wait 45 seconds for the glue to get tacky, then dip the root of the lashes into it. PAGE 10 OF 14 APPLY Skip the personal touch here and use tweezers or another lash tool to pick up your falsies and nestle them into the base of your natural lashes. The glued roots should not touch the eyelid skin. CLOCKWISE FROM TOP: JEFFREY MAYER/WIREIMAGE; TIPS (3)

How to DO A Smoky Eye PAGE 13 OF 14
SMOKY EYE A smoky eye is the perfect evening accessory: sultry, mysterious, and unapologetically sexy. The best thing about it? With the right tools and shadows, it takes only moments to pull off. Note: A neutral lip will keep you from looking over-the-top. JOAN SMALLS LINE Drag a fine-point liner along your water lines (the lower inner rims of your eyes). Use the pencil to trace along the upper and lower lash lines, stopping before you reach the inner corners. BRUSH AND BLEND Grab a blending brush to cover the entire lid with a light shadow and smudge it into the lower lash line. Then blend a darker shade into the crease, emphasizing the outer corners. PAGE 14 OF 14 SMUDGE Skip the brushes and use your finger to dab a metallic shade onto the center of the lid and under the lash line, pressing gently as you go.
