Featured artists include Oscar Furbacken, Jeppe Hein, Juhana Moisander, Miikka Vaskola, Anna Estarriola, Ernst Billgren, Malin Ahlsved and Nabb + Teeri. 14 FEB 12 AUG 2018 / EMMA Meret Oppenheim Portrait with tattoo, 1980. Photo: Heinz Günter Mebusch MERET OPPENHEIM: MIRRORS OF THE MIND The exhibition is a wide-ranging showcase of works by Meret Oppenheim, a highly influential figure within the surrealist movement. The exhibition forms part of EMMA s exhibition series on international modernists. Meret Oppenheim (1913 1985) is hailed as one of the most important and original talents to emerge from the surrealist movement. Her intellectual playfulness, experimentation and feminism so present in her life and work remain relevant to his day. Oppenheim covered and disguised ordinary everyday items, such as clothes, accessories and furniture, lending them a new, and unexpected, lease of life.
