Preschool and Kindergarten Everyday Uniform Short sleeve polo shirt with school logo in burgundy Dress shorts or skort in navy Solid short socks (covering the ankle) in white Short or long sleeve polo shirt with school logo in burgundy Preschool and Kindergarten Dress Uniform Oxford dress shirt in white Pullover sweater vest or cardigan in navy Dress blouse with round collar in white Jumper in navy Optional cardigan in navy Solid tights or socks (covering the ankle or touching the knee) in white
Dress Code Guidelines Footwear Shoes must have an enclosed toe and heel. Good choices include Oxfords, Mary Janes and simple loafers. Moccasins are acceptable indoor shoes for students in the primary classroom. Primary students should be able to remove as well as fasten or tie their shoes independently. Separate outdoor shoes or boots are required. Students should wear outdoor play shoes or boots to school and change into their classroom shoes after they arrive at school. Outerwear Students must have an approved navy bucket hat or ball cap for sun protection during outdoor activities and a navy fleece jacket, cardigan, sweatshirt or hoodie for spring and fall activities held outdoors. Students should bring outerwear for winter play including snowpants, boots, hats, gloves and coats. Sweatshirts, fleece jackets, coats, boots and other outdoor clothing may not be worn inside the classrooms. A navy cardigan may be worn inside the classroom for extra warmth. Hair and Headwear Hair must always be clean and neatly styled. Extreme hair colors or styles (such as Mohawks, partially shaved heads or brightly streaked tresses) are not allowed. Hair accessories may be worn if they are neutral (gold, silver, brown) or incorporate only the school colors of burgundy, white or navy. School plaid coordinated accessories are allowed. Hats may not be worn inside the classrooms. General Guidelines All students must have a full everyday uniform and a full dress uniform. Each preschool child must have a complete change of clothing, including underwear, which remains at school or in their backpack. Undergarments must not be visible. If biking shorts are worn under skirts and jumpers (whether for warmth or personal modesty), they are considered an undergarment and must not be visible. Leggings are not allowed. Students should bathe or shower daily. Clothing should be clean and in good repair. Clothing items may not be mixed and matched between grades or between casual and dressy uniforms. Logoed polo shirts, sweater vests, jumpers, skirts, ties, blazers, headgear, fleece jackets, cardigans and PE clothes must be purchased through the school store.
