PRESS RELEASE Herford, 17.10.2017 Pionier Workwear at the A+A exhibition "Function meets Fashion" at an extreme level - the Herford specialist for workwear presents its latest products for 2018 in Düsseldorf. One of Germany s most successful workwear manufacturers, the Herford specialist Pionier Workwear, a subsidiary of Ahlers AG, is presenting its latest products at the A+A exhibition in Düsseldorf from 17.- 20.10.2017. The exhibition which is held every two years is the world s biggest international fair for personal protection and safety and health at the workplace. This year at the A+A, 1,896 exhibitors from 55 countries will present their products to more than 65,000 visitors from 86 countries. Pionier will present its product innovations and developments in workwear at the industry gettogether which is held once every two years on its 150 m² Stand 3C 82 in Hall 3. After an intensive 18 month development phase, the company will present this year its new Concept and Performer collections with which it plans to open up new segments. Function meets Fashion on a high level.
Concept collection: M i x & M atch The Concept collection combines a modern cut with innovative design and high degree of comfort. It is built on the Mix&Match principle whereby the individual models offer many combination options in terms of colour. Comprising of a jacket with waistband, trousers with waistband, dungarees and Bermuda shorts, the Concept collection has been developed for trade and industry. The individual items are available in the colours black/grey, marine/corn blue, black/red as well as mono black, mono marine and mono grey. Items can be combined with one another and are distinguished by their ergonomic design, perfect fit and wide range of functional details such as stretch inserts, cordura reinforcements on the leg and breast pockets as well as leasing orientated workmanship / tailoring.
Performer collection The Performer collection brings professional protective clothing to a whole new safety level in high risk work areas. Comprising of a jacket with waistband, trousers with waistband and dungarees, the collection is divided into three safety levels Light, Heavy and Heavy+. Coloured trim elements also allow onsite supervisors to immediately recognise whether employees are wearing the correct clothing for their risk area. What s more, in the module system, it can be perfectly combined with the blended fabric collection Concept. For a uniform look for the entire workforce taking all the safety needs of the individual employees into consideration.
As a further highlight, there will also be a tattoo artist present on 19.10. from 10.00 am - 5.30 pm who will be able to provide anyone who is brave enough with a small tattoo free of charge. For the first time this year, Pionier Workwear will also present its new collections at the daily fashion show in Hall 11. Pionier Workwear has been developing workwear for more than 75 years and is amongst the top 10 in its sector in Germany.
