How It Works 2 How It Works 1 everything Arrange a Coordinator s Kit We make it easy for you. When doing Custom Design we send you a FREE Coordinator s Kit including: artwork instructions, drawing cards and pens, marketing tools, coordinator s guide, order tally sheet and order form - you need to run a successful fundraiser. Start promoting Begin promoting your project and collecting orders. We provide posters, flyers and parent order templates. Start spreading the word by sending home the flyers and parent order letter, putting a notice in your newsletter, sticking up your posters and displaying your sample tea towel, apron or bag in a common area. 3 Do your or handprints 1. Custom Design - Everyone draws or does a handprint, using the pens and cards supplied. 2. DIY Saver - Everyone draws or does a handprint on paper you ve prepared and then you arrange your design on a cardboard sheet the exact size of the print area (40x60cm). Do-It-Yourself designs can also be created to size digitally and uploaded to us through our website. 4 Send it back and we do the rest 1. Custom Design - Return the, order form and pens using the prepaid satchel provided. We will scan and re-size all the or prints as needed, then lay out your unique design to your specifications. The final layout will be prepared and emailed ready for you to check and approve. 2. DIY Saver - Return your completed layout and order details by post or submit your digital artwork through our website. We then add your choice of border and email it to you for final approval. 5 We print and deliver Once you ve approved your design via email the tea towels, aprons or bags will normally be printed and ready to ship within 1-2 weeks (allow more time in term 4). Products will arrive individually folded, ready to hand out - order bags are included to assist with easy distribution. If you have a deadline to meet, or live in a remote area, let us know as early as possible. The school community was so impressed with the product that we want to do another round of orders. Frequently Asked Questions How many can we include? Tea towels can contain up to 450 portraits in one design. For groups with numbers over 200 we ask you draw faces only. Aprons up to 300 images. Bags can include up to 150 images on one side. Do we have to use self-portraits? No, we can create a design using your logo, a sketch, signatures or a design to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion. It can be as creative or as simple as you like. What is the minimum order? The minimum order for each unique screen-printed design is 50. The majority of our customers however, achieve order numbers much higher than this. If you are doing more than one design, e.g. Junior & Senior, each design will be treated individually and require the minimum order of 50. Digitally printed individual artwork tea towels have no minimum order. Full colour designs have a minimum order of 20. What is the Early Bird Bonus? We offer free tea towels as a bonus for ordering before the end of term 2. If you order 300 or more tea towels you receive a bonus 30 tea towels, order 200+ to receive 20 extra or 100+ to receive an extra 10. The free tea towel special applies to screenprinted fundraising tea towel orders only. Can we do a re-order? Yes, the minimum re-order quantity is 30. Re-orders can be printed and shipped within 1-2 weeks. Can we do more than one product? Yes, we can use your original images to create unique designs on tea towels, aprons and bags. A minimum order of 50 applies for each unique screen-printed design. What is a combo? We offer a tea towel/apron combo, using a tea towel design printed on both products (only works in portrait layout). The minimum order is 50 tea towels & 20 aprons (or 50A + 20TT). NOTE: Bags cannot be included in a combo as the artwork and silk screens are a different size. How long does it take? Although it is often faster allow up to 4 weeks for Custom Designs and 3 weeks for Do-It-Yourself, from the time we receive your artwork to delivery. In Term 4 allow an extra 2 weeks due to the huge Christmas demand. If you have a deadline to meet, or live in a remote area, let us know as early as possible. Pricing Guide The price you pay varies based on the quantity you order per design. The more you order the cheaper they become. You then decide how much margin you want to add on top for your fundraising profit. We suggest a mark-up of between $5 and $10 per item. A typical sale price is $15 per tea towel and $20 each for bags and aprons. You can make even more fundraising profit by completing your tea towel project in Term 1 or 2 and taking advantage of our Early Bird Free Tea Towel Bonus. Another way to save and raise more funds is by choosing the Do-It-Yourself option to save 50 per item! DIY Do-It-Yourself and save 50 per item! There are no up-front costs and no hidden fees. Simply do your calculations using the prices above. Remember to include the $20 flat rate shipping in your calculations. You sell 200 tea towels at $15 each = $3,000 Purchase price from Expressions is $7.50 each - $1,500 Your profit = $1,500 less the $20 flat rate for shipping and you have raised $1,480! Some fine print - All fundraising orders have a flat rate shipping fee of $20. Custom Design Screen Print Prices listed are per item for each unique design, for a single colour print, GST included. Note: If you are doing more than one design, e.g. Junior and Senior, each design will be treated individually in regard to pricing and minimum orders. Multiple colour screen prints: 2 colours add $1.50 per item, 3 colours add $2.50 per item. The use of specific PMS colours outside our standard colour range will incur an additional charge.
