You might like to try some of the Pipe opal, you will find more of the pipes in the centre of the stones, we don t have X-ray vision eyes but the eyes bob up anywhere in the middle of the ironstone. I particularly like the 3oz Boulder with gem crystal only $35, there s not a lot of it but again there could be something inside but when you are buying Boulder opal only pay for what you can see, that s my tip. Boulder opal usually photographs pretty well. I am sure you will like the huge pair of splits for only $5,000. For $255 you can buy the fantastic 8.5ct rectangular piece with brilliant Golds and Greens, some Reds. It could just about be the buy of the lot but don t disregard the 3.03cts Blues Reds Greens & Golds for only $199. It s a small stone but whichever way you turn it you get a different colour, it s a magnificent piece. It really only needs to be cleaned up and polished. If you set it correctly you could even utilise the brilliant colour that s on one side of the stone. There are some Boulder splits which can be used as earrings. A split is where they get a piece of opal, they can see the colour bar running through it, they freeze it and then crack it open hoping that some opal will stick to one side of the Boulder and some to the other. Then you get a matching pair. The $3,900 pair is my pick. We have made up different earrings for people of late but these beautiful broad flashes really intrigue me. There is another small rectangular piece showing brilliant reds and some greens for only $149, you won t have to do a lot of work on that to get ready for a ring or pendant. We could match this stone for a pair of earrings, you would be talking $3,500 the pair but there wasn t a pair in the parcel, this stone is only $750. There is a pair of Boulder Greens $890 that are close to matching, they are not a split but they are very close to it. You could make a pair of earrings from these. If they were an exact match you would be talking double the price in a retail store. If you want a pair of earrings these could be yours for half price. The $595 18mm x 15mm is a stone that also challenges to be the best value of the whole of this offering. There is every colour of the rainbow with beautiful rolling flashes and is a very large stone. I can highly recommend it. Now just to show off a bit before Thanksgiving we have put in the beautiful Super Gem Gel, it s so precious I have put it away with the Boulder opal that s how it is included with this Offer. It s a magnificent piece and only works out at $252/ct. It s super gem and as a shell it s rare, at $252/ct is an absolute bargain.
