I started reading up on seaweed and soon realised that this was a resource with great potential. SUN PROTECTION ADVICE Do not use sunscreen as your primary protection against the sun. Protect yourself with clothes and shade. Do not use sunscreen as an excuse to stay in the sun for a long time. Always apply sunscreen when the UV Index is anything over 3. Use a waterproof sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15. If in doubt, use at least SPF 30 every day, especially in warmer climates. The effect of sunscreen depends on the intensity of UV, your skintype, how much sunscreen you apply and which factor you use. Use generous amounts of sunscreen - 2 tablespoons for your whole body. Reapply sunscreen every two hours, after swimming, towel drying or sweating. Find shade, especially when the sun is at its strongest between 11 am and 3 pm.
