What would be your ideal day in New York? A: Wake up, get a smoothie at Summers, and do yoga at Kula. Grab brunch at Marlow & Sons, then catch an exhibit at the Whitney. Then I would hunt for an epic pair of shoes on sale at Barneys. Later, I would grab drinks with friends at Soho House, eat dinner at Lovely Day, and grab a nightcap at Mr Fongs. What do you think are the emerging areas of New York? A: Chinatown is great! New places are always popping up there but it hasn t lost the authentic feel. Apotheke and Dimes are some of my go-to spots. Whitney Museum of American Art What is your favourite area of New York and why? A: I love NoLIta because it s home to primarily all of my friends, favourite restaurants and shops. There, you can hit the New Museum, buy some cool jewellery at Love, Adorned and get lunch at Egg Shop. Marlow & Sons Love, Adorned

Can you tell us about a favourite hidden gem you accidentally stumbled across recently? A: My friend Lex opened up a new spot called The New Stand. I discovered it at the Union Square subway stop. It s an extremely well-curated store where you can grab a pressed juice or some fun little gifts. David Zwirner Gallery What do you love most about New York and why? A: The energy in New York is like no other place in America. It s always pulsing and everyone is striving and working hard. The opportunities are endless and the sense of community is so strong here.
